information on BWV

We are looking at a 150 resale at board walk. Is thier a certain month UY that i sould be looking for. Becase my wife is a teacher and we will mostly be using it the 1st week of summer vacation(usually June 1-10) do we need to have a certain month UY to ensure that we can have points available at the 11 month window.
do any BWV owners have trouble geeting the standard studios the first week in june?

You can use points from any UY in June, and June would probably be the best UY for you. March, April would be fine.

The ones that would be hard for you to work with would be ones right after you travel, like August, or even September. If you had to cancel your June vacation, the points would have to be used before your next UY began.

June UY deadline for any banking is March 31st, so if you would know that you couldn't go by then, you may be able to bank some points, depending if you have already banked and whatever the particulars are, that is how many points you have. March 31st would be the 25 % deadline.

I have a spring break in March, and I would like to be able to book that vacation with "new" points, so my March UY works fine for me.

PS. Our main home is BWV, and we've not had any trouble booking SV rooms, but we haven't ever tried to book there in June, so no first hand experience then.

Just to be clear, UY has nothing to do with when you can make a reservation. You could own BWV with any UY and still be able to book at 11 months out, as long as the points for that trip will be available at that time.

I would also suggest a UY of March , April, May(is there May) or June. Any one of these would probably work just fine for you considering the time of year you expect to travel.
