At this point offering refunds to anyone within 30 days is literally the absolute bare minimum Disney could do. Other cruise lines did offer this when they first came out with their protocols saying anybody who was uncomfortable with them could get a full refund minus any extra FCC they got.I guess it doesn't really matter as long as they offer refunds. I remember reading through the Carnival and Royal threads on CC when they restarted and it seemed like everything was down to the wire and they kept making changes. I quit following it I"m not sure what the final outcome was as far as refunds.
Also when other lines brought it down to the wire they were as open as possible more than 30 days out about what their likely protocols were. People had an early indication of where vaccines and masks would be required months before cruising. The exact rules tweaked ever so slightly as it got closer but the gist of it has remained the same.
For DCL to say nothing at this point is disappointing. Anyone who has airfare booked is in precarious situation. Trying to come up with backup plans is also complicated.
I've gotten more info from Disney on potential hurricane interruptions than they have offered so far on their return to sailing
