Information about the Disney Character Premier store on International Drive

Yesterday my family and I went to the Disney Character Premier store in Mall #1 of the Prime 1 Outlets on International Drive, however when we went inside the store was closed. Tonight we went to the location at the Premium Outlet Mall and we were told the other location is re-opening next Friday August 17 at the brand new Prime 1 Outlet Mall on International Drive.

Also if anyone is intrested the mall itself is set to open tomorrow, however I am not sure if all the stores that are suppost to be there will be open on time.

The person in the old mall (not the other Character Premier store) we asked about this did not have a list of any other stores, sorry.

I think one of the reasons the Prime Outlet Mall wasn't as popular is that it was really run down. I haven't been to shop yet, but I drive by it on my way to/from work, and the difference is amazing. It's really in a more convenient location for I-Drive and SW/US/IOA guests than for Disney. I'll probably hit it when I do my Christmas shopping rounds later this year.

I think you are mixed up.

Premium Outlets is about 2 miles from Disney.

while prime outlet mall is what 20 miles - it is on the opposite end of ID. Not close to Disney at all.

I was aware of the Prime Outlets renovations. They use to be the Bells Factory Outlet years back and is still located at the corner of International Drive and Oakridge Rd, often reffered to the north end of I-Drive. The renovation was being made since late 2005, some of the outlets where still open and the last time I saw the Outlets, at least the main building was torn down and the second building was being refurbished. Of course I have not seen what's going on in Orlando since last March, cause my family decided to leave Florida for the cold Northwest or Seattle WA.
