Is there a dead set max? I have 11 which includes a 2 year old can I still do one? Is there a problem with doing child swap? How far in advance can you book? 180 or 60 days?

I think it's 10 per guide. Not sure if the 2 year old can skate. You'd have to ask when you call in. You can call at the 60 day mark on your trip. Just like dining, if you are staying on-site, you can book any day during your stay, otherwise it's 60 days to the day you want to book.

Yes the max is the MAX
and there could be an age restriction for attendees so just a fyi
Can you please clarify what you mean by 'an age restriction for attendees' means? VIP tours allow all ages (newborns and up) but, every single person counts in the total numbers in the group.

@MMouse 50, your group would be 11 people and would require a second guide. There are no exceptions.

I assume the poster is talking about things like behind the scenes tours that have age limits.

That may be but the title of this thread is only asking about VIP tours so age limits do not apply.

No sense adding unnecessary confusion when that response does not apply to this thread.
