I know there are a lot of questions about work from home jobs on here. I already do secret shopping and do alright with it. I would like to maybe add something else that I could make some extra cash without putting out very much cash. Is there any survey sites you can actually make money on without having to put out a lot of money? Any suggestions would be helpful.

Hi Chattyann, I'll be keeping an eye on your thread as we're currently saving up for a trip. Just curious but how did you get involved with secret shopping?

One of the things that I've been doing is any online shopping (for stuff that was going to get bought anyway) gets done through a site like ebates, fatwallet or discover rewards (whoever is offering the most cash back) and that cash back check goes right into the WDW fund.

I also do surveys through opinionplace.com.

I'm going to move this over to the Disney Reward Programs forum. I'm sure that you'll get plenty of helpful suggestions for both GPT and survey sites that actually pay without having to spend any money. Good luck!

I use Sunshine Rewards and CashDuck.

Sunshine Rewards has an excellent forum to help you get started. Both have fantastic customer service and very friendly, quick to respond to questions or concerns. I don't think I've waited more than a few hours for an answer.

If you decide to join more than one, just make sure you don't repeat surveys or offers. What I do is always do offer types abc on SR, and offer types xyz on CD, that way I know I won't overlap by accident.

Again, this is nothing to quit your dayjob over, but great for some extra spending money, etc.

So for for this trip I've put $600 on my room ressie, have $200 disney dollars, and $75 rainforest cafe/trex/yakyeti. This is since I think August when I started cashing out for Disney. You can also get check/paypal, or various other gift cards. Last spring I cashed out for Home Depot and Walmart and painted the house and new drapes.

I am also a member of buzz agent. They send you products to test and then "buzz" about to people. They pay you in MyPoints so I also have an account there, but that's about all I do with them, and maybe some email clicks. Mostly the buzz agent is because I like to test cool stuff!

You don't need a referral to join (and we are not allowed to ask or give them here on the DIS).

I wasn't even sure if I'm allowed to post the link, but it is pretty easy to figure out what they'd be :)

Hi Rottiemom, I seen an ad in our local paper one day about secret shopping. I had been thinking about doing it for a while but all the sites I looked into wanted quite a bit of money to get started so I figured they were not legit. When I started it cost me 1.95 cents and now I don't pay anything because I have found the free sites that have legit jobs. I don't get rich but it is enough to pay my car payment monthly.

You should not have to pay for mystery shopping info. There are many legit sites you can find for free with a little bit of time on the net, as listed above.

I also use Sunshine Rewards and Mypoins (also Buzzagent tied to Mypoints) Mypoints is maybe the easiest to get started with if you are new to this type of site, simple because they send many 5pt. clicks per week. But for surveys I would recommend a site like SR. You may not qualify for surveys every day, but they do add up as you do them. I'm not a great big earner at SR by any means, but in approx 3 years time I have made close to $1000 through surveys, online purchases and offers. I used to do SR a lot more before I worked full time, so my earnings have slowed way down in the past 2 years. Almost all my earnings at SR have been toward Disney, and I have a nice balance there waiting to get cashed out. I am waiting to cash out this time, as I may need to cash out for Paypal if DH gets laid off from his job...but it is nice to know that balance is sitting there either way. If you join SR, make sure to check out the forums for tips and read all the stickies...very helpful.

You may also want to check out expotv.com. you make short video clips of reviews on any item and then you get 5 a piece. You can make up to 100.00 a month right no wthrough expotv.com.
