I am just wondering if anone could suggest an inexpensive waterproof camera. I do not like using the disposable ones and I am just looking for one to take to the waterparks and swimming that can get wet.

I've had good luck with Olympus point and shoot cameras. I have a Stylus that's waterproof + drop resistant that I bought 5 years ago that's still holding up great. Obviously the technology as far as sensors/image quality has come leaps and bounds since then, but the waterproofing has held up well. I know if you go to Disneytouristblog.com, Tom Bricker has recent reviews of waterproof cameras posted.

We all have diferent ideas of inexpensive. so how inexpoensive are we talking? Less than $100? Less than $300?

Another vote for the Olympis Stylus. Works fine for waterparks, pools, etc. A bit slow for my taste, but I'm used to a dslr. Just be sure to check the seal when closing it up. A small piece of lint or hair can lead to a flood. And don't be fooled by warranties as most DO NOT cover flooded cameras (seen it many times while working as a scuba instructor).

I bought the Kodak C123 and used it on our last trip - it took some great pool shots! I was glad I had bought that one instead of one of the throw-away ones.
