inexpensive netbooks anywhere?

I'm looking for a netbook for my son, nothing fancy. Prices I'm seeing are close to $300. Anyone know a website where they are selling a bit cheaper than that?

TRU has the Disney Netpal $90 off this week. They are $259. Ours is being shipped soon. My daughter has bugging for one forever. The do have a special where yo spend $260 on a computer and get a free sleeve and mouse combo...of course the netpal is $259.99!

This one is $99 and is a no-name. It has great reviews though. I was thinking of getting one and paying the $14 for the 2 year warranty. I'd love one for when we travel instead of lugging the monster laptop with me.

That has a REALLY small hard drive (2 GB...most phones have more than that LOL!), and 128MB of RAM. Tiny. Tiny. Tiny. I'd bet you'd be really disappointed with that.

Most of the netbooks have 1 GB of RAM, and 250+ GB of storage space.

I am looking for an inexpensive netbook myself, so I looked at this. This would not run much of anything.

For some reason, last night it was $249 plus $8 shipping. It's higher in price today.

I loved the Netpal in pink, but my 14 year old son wouldn't!

I am looking for an inexpensive netbook myself, so I looked at this. This would not run much of anything.

I would just be using it for internet and possibly to type a document. I have a regular laptop and an external hard drive for storage. I don't know that I will get one anyway for other reasons.
