Hello, can anyone recommend some inexpensive dining restaurants near the Gaylord Palms Hotel? From what I've read the resort restaurants are quite expensive and am looking for some good cheap eats nearby. Thanks for any suggestions!

If you drive down International Drive South- you get to 192 - every chain imaginable - and Krispy Kreme!

Gaylord Palms is a bit odd - kind of in the middle of nowhere, but close to quite a few places at the same time. Sounds strange, I know, but you'll understand what I mean once you've visited! Fundamentally, nothing is within walking distance, but there's quite a bit within short driving distance.

You're right on the edge of WDW property - just travel west along Osceola Parkway. As iloveokw says, travel south a short distance on South International Drive and you hit US192. Just take your pick! Travelling north on I-Drive (albeit quite a bit further - 15/20 minutes?) you will also find a huge selection. Have you been to Orlando before? What kind of food do you enjoy?

Thank You both for your responses. Yes, UKDEB I've been there before but never at this new resort location. I faintly remember driving by the hotel last year and it seemed a little desolate. I was hoping it wouldn't be more than 15 mins away from alternative dining. I'm glad to hear it's near Internat'l Drive. As far as dining goes, I'll be up for anything. This is the one time a year I get to indulge so I'm going to have a little bit of each. I read on another post that Bahama Breeze is nearby so that will be a definite choice. Thanks again for the info!:)
