Well Gentle Reader, We did it!

During a brief break in the action the brother in law Bob and I made the grand circle around Epcot, carefully documenting our excursion. Photographs were taken at each stop, random strangers were invited to join us in said documentation.

We would like to thank Polish lady, Orange shirt guy, the hot Norway Babes, the hot Mexican babe, Flowered Shirt guy, the people in Ireland that got so flustered they forgot to charge us, along with others we'll not remember until the film is developed.

Other highlites (for us)

Ticking off the crowd at the 3 Dog Night show. Apparently "Taking Care of Business" is a BTO song. Sorry guys.

The fact that our wives provided matching Red Disney Hawaiian Shirts and then that guest naturally assumed we were cast members. They asked us questions, most got answers, not all were amussed. (How do I get to Independance Hall? Practice, practice, practice!)

When asked by cast members about our shirts I was always quick to point out that Bob was the "girl" in our relationship.

The hot Norway babes giving me a larger beer than Bob. Just a coincidence, I'm sure.

Taking the Norway ride, skipping the film. I mean c'mon, who do they think they are, Iceland?

Iwas pointing out to Bob in S. Africa the Earnest Hemingway used to drink a lot of Tusker beer and then go shoot elephants. A cast member rightly spoke up and said, "We don't reccomend that here sir."

Meeting Phil Donahue at Jelly Roles after our tour. I swear it was him really. I think we took a photo with him. His group seemed to enjoy it more than he did.

We also honestly enjoyed the fact that we saw several other on their own Inebrenations tour, but as none had matching shirts, they were not invited to join us.

Thanks a lot -- apparently people in quiet university libraries don't appreciate hysterical laughter. :p

I hope our Epcot experience is as hilarious as yours! Can't wait to see the pictures!

Was that all in one day?!?!? :earseek: I'm both impressed and envious at the same time! So - how was your head feelin' ??? :headache:

You guys are too funny! We're heading down on Thursday with my sister and her family. Hmmmm, wonder if our DH's will try the same thing . . .

That is great! Glad to hear you had a great time. Next Thur. I'm going on an all girls trip to F&W Festival. We are attempting to drink around the world. I'll let ya know how it goes. My hubby is sorry he's missing it. HaHa!

Before I become responsible for someones coma, I've been urged to point out that not all beers consumed were of the 20oz variety. There are a couple 6 oz'ers in there.

Also

Please don't drink and go on Mission Space.

:tongue: :bounce: :yo-yo: :Pinkbounc ::yes::

Or, do drink and go on Mission Space! Just don't try that at home, kids! It's only for experienced Pilots and Navigators. :wave2:

Or your Brother-in-Laws! I have the red Mickey Reyn Spooner, and I bought one for my son- but the XXL slipped thru my fingers on Ebay!! My one and only chance at getting my Husband to wear a "Matching outfit" is gone (He would ONLY do this at WDW, trust me!).

At the very least, Can my Son and I join you on your next inebriations tour since we have the matching shirts? (My Son would have to stick to sprite). Jill

I can ONLY reply with a great big

ROTFLMAO

Sounds like quite the Inebrenations Celebration! LMAO just at the name alone! :p :p

Ahhhhhh the world needs more silly monkeys. Thanks for the giggle tonite.

$.02 from the Bro-Law…

As a first-timer, WDW lived up to all expectations…the highlight (besides celebrating my wife’s b-day with family on private boat watching Epcot fireworks) was the much anticipated Inebrenations Tour!

The beers tasted fresh, and crisp…my (free) favorites were Ireland’s Guinness Stout and the Lowenbrau(s) from OCTOBERFEST. The food was great too; I really liked CANADA’s Pan seared Salmon with honey maple glaze and the Tuna Tataki from JAPAN.

Walking around posing as Epcot beer journalists was a gas…don’t think we’ll receive any awards until the pics are posted…so bring it on Joe when you’ve got some time.

Also Joe, thanks for the journalist participation and late night omelet spread…you were worth the date!

NOTE-Killer Rides In order of Must Do:
MGM's "Tower of Terror", Islands of Adventures "Spiderman", Epcot's "Mission from Space", Disney Quest's "Alien Invasion" virtual arcade game (in an enclosed pod w/ up to 6 players)

Sounds like a great time. We did the same thing (although not as intense) last Thanksgiving with my Sister and Brother-In-Law. It was a great way to take the edge of dinner with my husband's parents. Even our 10 and 11 year old tag-along kids had fun.

We're leaving Friday and plan to meet up with a family from school to do it again this Saturday. Wish us luck.

By the way the pictures we took along the way on our "Beers around EPCOT" tour were the best ones we took. Hope yours are as much fun.
