Okay, I have read through all the recipes offered under the low carb recipe thread and I can't wait to be done with Induction to try some of them. Does anyone have any recipes that are "legal" for induction? Or do I just have to tough it out for 2 weeks?:D

My favorite thing for induction right now is the grill!!! take any meat - drizzle it with olive oil, add spices, or marinate chicken in Ranch dressing etc etc. I love wovenwonder's brocolli salad - but I tend to eat too much - so for me, that's out. Back to the grill thing. DH loves grilling so every evening he grills a variety of stuff and lots of it goes in the fridge. That way I can have steak for breakfast (yes, I often eat it cold - maybe that's gross!) or great tasting meat all day long.

You just need to look over the low carb recipies and see if all ingredients are on the acceptable foods list. I spent alot of time in various stores reading labels on marinades and dressings.

Be careful not to eat too many eggs - especially the same preparation - you can get really sick of them, really fast! After the fat fast, I never want to see another boiled egg in my life! So now, I make a really nice omlette with fresh herbs, shredded cheese and garlic butter (you can add meat if you want).

Good luck - and please keep asking questions!

Mmmm, Karyn! I love cold steak! That's not gross at all (although cold steak at a restaurant is another story, ha ha!)

We love to grill too! I need to buy stock in boneless, skinless chicken breast. We go through a ton every week! Thank goodness for gas grills! (insert smiley faces here)

Sausage balls, tuna wraps, mock danish, cheesecake, brocolli salad, fauxtato salad, pepperoncini beef from the recipe thread are all "legal" on induction.

How about hot wings, deviled eggs, celery and cream cheese or dip, peppery turnip fries, sauteed radishes, taco salad (make your own sugar-free taco seasoning, or buy the lowest carb you can find) minus the tortillas, fajitas minus the tortillas, ham & cheese roll-ups, sandwich fillings wrapped up in lettuce leaves, steak tips and mushrooms, chicken salad...

There's absolutely no need to "tough out" anything eating low-carb!

I love "meat-zaa"! Take a pound of hamburger and flatten it out on a pizza pan. Bake for about 10 minutes at 350.

Take it out, pour out the grease, and top with your favorite meat & veggies toppings (sausage, pepperoni, peppers, mushrooms, onion, tomato, etc). Then, top with shredded cheese and put back in the oven til the cheese turns brown - 8-10 minutes!

Hey! some of these sound really good! Thanks for the tips!

Hi, I am also in Induction (starting 2nd week) Can't really give you any recipes - - I have been eating a lot of the same stuff over and over...just wanted to say hi and tell you we are neighbors! I live in Chesterfield Twp! Good luck with Induction!

PS that Meat-zaa sounds so good, I think I will try it this week!

Love that Meat-zaa recipe. I'll have to try that one.

God bless you, best wishes, and encouragemet, RaySharpton (insert smiley face here...lol)
