Induction Day 7--Parade candy is from da devil!

Day 7 has turned out to be OK. We live an hour from The Circus Capital of the World (exciting, isn't it?) and this weekend is the Circus City Festival. So we took the dd's to the parade today.

Highlight--watching an elephant pee on the street during the parade! It looked like water shooting out of a fire hose!!!

Lowlight--Parade candy! I didn't even anticipate this! I LOVE tootsie rolls...of all flavors!!!!!!! My kids now have 18,372 of them in the house!!!!!!!! Went to KFC for lunch and ate off the buffet. Took *most* of the skin off of the chicken, green beans, salad, some cole slaw. Overall, I felt good about it.

Did you make lots of great memories? Did you have lots of fun? That is what is most important. Making those memories...*sigh* I miss my little boy now and he's all grown up.

Speaking of parades and Circus Capitals....

Last weekend here in Milwaukee we had the Circus Festival and Circus Parade. It's a awesome event that starts with a huge train of circus animals, performers, wagons, and many other various that leaves Baraboo, WI and heads to my little old city.

Of course, going to see the circus was HARD with all the snow cones, and other circus foods that were EVERYWHERE.

For the parade, we got tickets to sit in my mom's office seating area to watch the parade. They had free ice cream, popcorn, cotton candy, and other free food from Fazolis Italian restraunt.

It's so hard to pass up on free food like that. And it was GOOD food.

But I did! yah!
