Independence Day Challenge-Last Call for Updates!

OOOOPS! I forgot to post. Still at 143, as of Sunday, but TOM is raging. (Actually, I'm down to 140.5 today, Tuesday, after finally shooing the Bloat fairy off my back! :teeth: ) I'm hoping for a nice loss by my second 39th birthday, this comming Sunday! I think 139, for another 39th has a nice ring to it! Official monthly weigh in is Thursday. W.I.S.H. me luck. Or will power. Whatever works here.::yes::

Hi all! I lost 1/2 a pound this week. That makes me 1/6. I think I'm starting to get the hang my new diet. I switched from low carb to low glycemic about two months ago. It has taken a little while to get it figured out, but I like this woe much better. Have a good week everyone!:D
 
I was hoping for a woosh this week, but TOM had other ideas and showed up a week early. I still managed to take off 1 pound and 2.75 inches, though, so I am very happy. Now I'm only one away from my next clippie and four from my challenge goal (9/13 on the challenge). This week I've got to step back up on the walking. I've let it slide since I started working part time.

I'm up .2 this week, which isn't bad, considering all the buffets in Vegas! ;)

So I'm at 8.8/15
 
Down 1.2 for a total of 6.2/13. I really must kick things up a bit more because I really want to make this goal! Just .6 pounds away from a new clippie.
 
I am down a lb, which I am very excited about because I have stayed the same the last two weeks. So my total is....
1.5/10

Yeah!!! I still need to get my behind in gear and start losing a little more to make my goal.

Hi!

I've been unable to attend Curves faithfully 3-4 times per week for the past month and have been feeling discouraged. I don't have a scale at home anymore (that will be my reward when I reach my 140 pound goal) and had no idea if I gained or lost the last 1-1/2 weeks. Well, today I went to Curves and found that I am now 168 pounds! I was 195 on March 8th! I've lost 27 pounds since starting Curves, 18 pounds since starting the Curves Low-Carb diet on May 3, and have lost
14.5/20
pounds of my goal for this Independence Day Challenge!!! :) I also earned a new 25 Pound Clippie!!! ::yes:: 1/2 more pound and I will be half-way to my goal weight!

We are going to WDW for MNSSHP the end of October & I'm going to be Alice (in Wonderland). I purchased a medium costume on e-Bay and received it this week. It doesn't fit!! :( I have to lose atleast 3 inches across my bust for the velcro to meet in the back!! I KNOW that I can reach my goal in time & this costume will definitely give me the motivation the next few months (along with you all, of course! :)

Congrats to all of you who have lost, stayed the same, earned new clippies!!! Hang in there to those of you who feel discouraged. There is hope and you CAN do it! :)
 
I won't be able to weigh or post tomorrow, so I'm actually going to be early for once.

I'm doing a little better this week. Down 0.5 pounds. It's not as quick as I wanted it to be, but I'm steadily going down on a plan I can handle for the long run. So, put me down for 2/10.

I am down another 2 lbs this week- for a total of 12/15 for the challenge.

I'm confused. For the past 3 months I've only lost 5 lbs. a month - a typical slowdown. So for this challenge I picked 7 lbs. Now I'm already at goal - and 7/4 is still 3 weeks away! I am down to 192, which is 8/7. So, I guess I'll raise my goal to 10 - I know me, I drop the weight at one point in the month, and for the rest I maintain. So, I would like to change to 10 for my goal, which would put me at 8/10. Does that make any sense, lol?
 
I am glad to report I am down another 2 pounds this week. I am 12/15 for this challenge. I also get a new clippie! Congrats to everyone this week. Let's keep it up! :)
 
I'm down 2 lbs this week. Not a lot for some, but a pretty big loss for me. I'm a happy girl. That makes me 4.2/10 (also .8 from my 5 lb clippie .. so close!). Now I have some real pressure to keep myself in line at WDW this week! :)

I'm down 1.2 this week. I'm happy with this because I knew I set my goal high, hey, this is a challenge. That makes me 4.6/16. I will be happy with getting half way there, but am still hoping for a little better than that! :sunny:
 
I'm still holding-no loss for the second week in a row. :mad: Who knows... but at least I didn't gain!
