Inaugural Western 5/11/02 Who is going?

Garry we got our shirts and hope you got the check. When Lynn went to pick up the package at the Post Office she did not know who we knew in MI with a Mouse return address label. Silly Her.

Would love to met up with ya at the Wilderness Lodge on the 9th or 10th. We should get there about 6:30ish on 5/9. We will toss stuff in the room and head to EPCOT. Just trying get all we can out of the annual passes. Could meet ya there or wherever. Name a spot and we will be there.

Will try to pick up some post cards today. Good Idea on asking for a bulk discount.

Sorry guys I might not make Cruise chat tonight as I have to get a dive class ready for Open Water this weekend. I might make there late.

Hey folks, looks like my parents are coming aboard. They have canceled Wed's resort stay, but are planning on being at the resort Thurs - Sat. They also just changed their shore excursions to ones that my dad can do. On both islands (G. Cayman and Cozumel) they are doing the submarine tours.

My dad is saying now 70% yes he is going, my mom believes by the way he is acting and planning that there is no doubt they are going... unless something happens between now and then.


DH and I will still be at the resort from Wed. - Sat. and we are keeping our shore excursions as planned before. Which are: in G. Cayman the Reef and Shipwreck Snorkle and in Cozumel the Furry Catamaran and Snorkle Beach Party.

I Luv Disney Cruise: Great news about your Dad! I'm sure he'll enjoy the cruise and the opportunity to put in a lot of relaxation time.

I'm working until 2PM on Friday the 10th and DW is working 'til noon. I've set her up with a manicure and pedicure in the afternoon so she'll be all nice and colorful for the trip!

At the same time, I'll be getting my hair <strike>cut</strike> styled.

We'll fly into MCO on Sat. morning at 11:10am and then catch the DCL shuttle down.

I Luv Disney Cruise: Wonderful news about you Parents. I am so glad everything worked out. Tell Dad to get a nice drink and a chair on the Promanade out of the sun. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the ocean air.


I am working until 11:30 on Friday the 10th, then I go drop off the cat and pick up the tux. Finally I pick up DH at work at 5:00 and it is off to dinner and the airport. Our flight is at around 8:00 we will land around 11:00

See you guys next Saturday.

Glad Dad's OK, relaxing is the best medicine. Although he may still be apprehensive to cruise, being in the middle of the ocean. That would be understandable also.

Anyway booked my airfare for July vacation in Florida, was getting too close to cruise time and then when I got back I would have been sad with no other trips booked, but at least I can still obsess, although it won't be a cruise. Waiting till August 2003 for that, if I LOVE cruising that is.

Packed all the toiletries today, so no one has to bring anything I have enough for the ship, and I have it all.

then we go threw tunnel to logan airport
2:45 flight on delta non stop to MCO
arrive 5:45
then tiffany town car to the rad arrival time 7:00 ish
see u all then

after the cruise we go to Animal Kingdom Lodge
( Concierge ) level for one night and fly home on sunday night

While we r on vacation we r having the house painted
color i do not know Jen has not decided, well she has but it changes every day >>>>>>
last time we went away they did the inside it was awesome coming home to a fresh painted house..
we just bought it 6 months ago so we r still making it ours
and not some one elses...
we liked the house but not the color, so we r going to change it. so we have a surprise to come home to again..
she did a great job of picking colors for inside
so we let her pick outside also..
it is hard picking from little Squares ???

The postcard thing: We were thinking about getting postcards from our hometown and giving them out to fellow DisBoard members with our info on them. More stuff to bring However, the room these take up on the way down will be vacant on the way back so you'll have room for souvies. Same for the BF, unless you ship it

Thanks Psiklops! I was just curious to see what the ports of call were! Looking at those ports makes me want to go even more!! As to when we will be booking our western...i would like to say soon but my pocket book isn't saying soon!

we think we have it narrowed down,
so far we think we r going to do the ..
JEEp trip on Cosmel
and the kayaking trip on grand Caymen
but we will see this is subject to change would not want to miss a MEET or something like that ....
jeep tour it is a standard jeep just to let u know
we hear from others it is a blast..
and they may drive on the other side of the road not sure?

I must be getting stupid, Yup thats right on the cards but not if you mail them home. I was going to bring some labels and fool everyone. Each time I would get one I would paste a label of mine on it and give it away Then I would not have any

Peter they DO drive on the wrong side of the road in Grand Cayman but don't know about Cozumel.

Ok its off to dinner, Intenational Buffet, trying to start the cruise attitude...you know little bite of everything to keep the weight off

Peter, FYI in Mexico they drive on the right side just like here in the USA.

Rental cars in GCY have big stickers on the dash stating "STAY LEFT" with a big arrow.
