Inaugural 3/31/12 Fantasy Cruise

Is that all??? :) Wife and I are booked on the maiden Fantasy.. First time on a maiden voyage!! :cool1:

But since the countdown is too long, we are also on the first Alaska cruise.. so we have something in between to look forward too :)

That and a new baby later this summer :)

:cool1: Woo HOO a new baby. Welcome and Congrats!

HI!!! :goodvibes

There really needs to be a 12-step program for people like me... "Hi, my name is Jamie, I am a Disney Fanatic and a planner..." :rotfl2:

I have really enjoyed reading this thread and all the ones about the Dream :cool1:

We have only been on the 3/4 night cruises. I know that the Caribbean/Nassau cruises have been more relaxed on the dress code over the years. My question is... This IS a 7 day cruise AND a MV. What do you, as the MV community, think the odds of a formal night will be? Hubby is planning a coat and Tie for Remy but said he is game for a penguin suit if there is a "Real" Formal night.

Thoughts????

THANK YOU!!! :worship:

JoJo- welcome aboard and we'll see you in 2 weeks on the Dream!! :goodvibes

How many of us are doing both the Dream and Fantasy MVs? Hope I get to meet all of you! :)

Enna, JoJo, and anyone else on the MV of the Dream- We should definitely get together on the MV of the Dream so then we can hang out again on the Fantasy. I haven't seen any of our Dream organizers on this thread either so we might have to step up and do it. Let me know if you guys want to meet up for lunch on the ship or something. :goodvibes

That sounds like a great idea-count me in for lunch. Probably once we get through the MV of the Dream those that are on the MV of the Fantasy will pop in. I know there are several who are doing both.

I think there are more of us (sailing on both MVs) than you realize. I think most people are focusing on the Dream since its so close.

We'd be happy to meet up on the Dream! Just let us know when and where~

There is usually a formal night and a semi formal night on a 7 night cruise. I've seen all kinds of fancy clothes for the formal night. Some men do wear tuxes and some just wear a jacket and tie. If your husband is game for the tux, go for it!

Welcome aboard to all the new Cruisers!!! I am Jennifer my DH is Scott and My DD is Abby who will be 11 at the time of the cruise. If anyone has any children my DD's age that would like to pen pal before the cruise please PM me, thank you. Abby would really like to meet some new friends.

Hi have PM'd you about penpals

count me in - lunch sounds good to me or how about time in the cove(is it still called that on the Dream?)chat over a coffee?

Just booked, sorta, kinda. I switched my Magic Dec 30/11 reservation to the Fantasy MV, and then the representative informed me that I lose my onboard booking discount and the deposit is twice the amount and non refundable. This was after she "locked" me in. She realized that she should have informed me of this information prior to locking the reservation, so I have until Monday to decide (until administration can unlock the reservation) ... what should I do? It sounds like it is going to be a great voyage. It is so far off, what if .... I will not worry about the what if ... I will just make it happen. See what DH has to say tomorrow AM.

I hope you stay with this sailing. I have not been active due to holiday season and some health issues but I promise to get active again soon. We are going to be a fantastic group!!

:welcome: to all the recent new comers.

Relaxin: I agree with Noel. Hope you stay on with this sailing. We need a healthy Canadian representation :goodvibes

Noel: Hope the health issues are not to serious and that they resolve soon for you. Take care of yourself.

Jon, thank you for your concern. Minor health issues for me but my BIL who has been staying with us this week may have to have surgery on his kidney.

I've been to Canada, and once, we had some Canadian Boy Scouts staying in our house for a week. Does that get me into the club? :rotfl:
