Inaugural 3/31/12 Fantasy Cruise

We got our little cruise information booklet in the mail today from DCL. It seems very early though, I'm sure we didn't get one this far in advance of the Baltic cruise we did.

We just booked this cruise! So super excited! I can hardly believe it.
We have our first cruise ever booked for June this year to Alaska, so I didn't think we'd book so quickly for another one, but here we are!
2012 will be our 20th wedding anniversary on Feb 29 so this is our gift to each other!!!

aboard I am Jon and my DW is Candida. Candida wants to do an Alaskan cruise so be prepared for her to ask you impression when you get back. We will also be using the MV to celebrate our anniversary, it is on May 2nd. As for the cake that was mentioned, it is "small" by Disney standards, our table got a couple on the last cruise over the course of the trip. They are big enough to share with the whole table. We had a table of six and there were still left overs. if you haven't already, just make sure you let Disney know you are celebrating on the cruise.

When we did the WBTA 2010 we did a dumby date booking for an Eastern Carb. cruise. Once the dates were opened for this cruise we transferred the reservation. We then recieved both the Western book and the Eastern book on the same day back in November.

I will be glad to share my experience of Alaska with your DW! I'm very excited about seeing all the wildlife, especially the ocean life!
I did write in the reservation that we are celebrating our anniversary in the place where it asks you on the DCL website!

I've been reading all the speculation posts on the 9A rooms and which will have better porthole windows (size, #, facing direction, etc.)

Unfortunately, when my TA booked we only got GTY and now the DCL site isn't showing any 9A staterooms available. I thought I might be able to figure ours out by process of elimination... or at least maybe determine the odds of each.

Hello everyone - we've just booked this cruise.

We were originally going to be sailing on one of the Alaskan cruises this July, but we will be vacationing with extended family this year instead. Couldn't convince the rest of the family to book a DCL cruise, so we've transferred our ressie to this one!

Hi my family and I will be joining you on the MV of the Fantasy - we had to swap weeks too which worked better in our favour with the school breaks(over here in the UK).

There is Me(JoJo) Rob(DH) Holly 9yrs old and Evan 6yrs old (current ages) and we are all so excited about cruising on the Fantasy to complete the set

Welcome aboard! First time for us on a maiden voyage too! We would love to do Alaska one day. In the meantime we are looking forwad to being on the Dream in May and a B2B on the Dream for the 4 day DVC Member's cruise in September and the 3 days prior. Congratulations on the new addition to the family!

We switch as well. This works out better for us-I'm hoping!! My son will be in middle school the time of this cruise and after I booked initially, parents from the middle school told me that the absences would be unexcused even with prior notice. If the calendar follows the same way in 2012 as prior years, this week will be spring break for the boys, and then no worries.

I see familiar diser names-several from the MV of the Dream are on this cruise as well. Can't wait to meet everyone.
