Inappropriate ad banner on the Dis

I've got one at the top about pet friendly holidays to France and Spain and one at the bottom about summer offers at Radisson hotels.

I never see any ads. They get blocked.

Through a dozen or so of refreshing the screen, top and bottom ads randomly one of these ads:

JustLuxe.com

LastMinuteTravel.com

Forex.com

Still the same three ads for me. Is it based on content of the page being loaded, or based on cookie contents on the users computer?

Probably based on the tracking cookies in your machine. Wonder what sites your DH has been surfing?

Yesterday, I was getting ads for "enlargement" with the "P" word. Do you want to enlarge your (you get the idea)!! I couldn't believe it!! We were actually driving home from WDW using my dh's wireless card, I don't know if that had anything to do with it or not. I'm home now and I'm back to harmless ads.

I live in Wisconsin and I always get the "Door County" ads for hotels and resturants. I hate going to Door County in summer, it's a place where everyone thinks they want to go, and there is nothing to do there.

If you're seeing porn or inappropriate content in the ads, be sure your virus software is updated and run a FULL scan on your system.

This would be the result of malware on your PC, and you need to clean it up.

DH said that's what I have on my computer. No wonder I had no idea about these ads everyone was referring to. I thought I was going crazy.

That's what I have and I don't get any of the Google ads at the top or bottom of the page.

Yeah you can upload it to Imageshack. I did see a banner the other day for naughty greeting cards with a VERY busty cartoon woman.

All I can say is as long as it is not poltically or religiously related it will be fine.

You know, I am not sure that this is the answer. I am using a brand new laptop, literally hours from the box, and this is one of the first sites I visited. I am still getting the buxom woman who wants me to join her.

I ran a Norton scan and got one ding - a tracking cookie that I cleaned up. I am still getting the buxom woman.

Perhaps the difficulty does not lie on this side of the screen...
