I know Song follows the 331 day standard, but JB and SW tend to only go out about 6-7 months. I have heard they add chunks of time not day by day. How does that work. When they release dates that catch up with Song does Song do a price drop if they still have a good inventory? About what time will they release President's week 2006? We usually drive on most of our vacations so I am not familiar with a lot of airline policies/tricks. Thanks

I Would Love To Know About Jetblue!!!

I Have Been Flying The Last 4 Years On President's Week. The Key Is To Book Early. Check Tommrow Morn, & Look Every Morn After.

Try Travelocity, They Usually Come With The Cheapest For Me.

Good Luck

I'm interested in the answer to your question too.

It's kind of a crapshoot, actually.

Right now, you can book through October on JetBlue. I don't think their next release is going to cover through the end of February, which is what I need.

There was a poster earlier this month who seemed to know when SWA was releasing their next chunk of tickets. Hopefully, they'll see this one.

The reason I ask is I stayed up until Midnight and then got up again at 3AM for Song and the lowest one way ticket from Boston was $150 and that is for the end of Presidents week (24th). (We are going on DCL on the 25th) I would love the to get $89 rate, but I can live with $109.

I ran into the same thing last night. We got $89 one way BOS to MCO. Trying to get home from RSW (Ft Myers) on the 25th of Feb, and last night at midnight, the flights were $259 one way  And at 3am when DH got up they had to dropped to an oh-so-reasonable  $249 one way

Looks like I'll be playing the waiting and checking game too this year.

Do we need some sort of support group?

Yes - I'm waiting for the same thing - but on SW - I don't think Song goes into Philly yet.

See #17 on the SW FAQ on flyertalk forums.

It seems like they are saying the trend for the next release is 131 days prior to sept 12(the current end date), which if I calculated right is May 5. It also seems to say it should open up for the next 177 days (which I didn't calculate). Anyway, my eye will be on SW's website on cinco de Mayo!

Another person playing the waiting from South Florida to NYC. I got a 74 ticket down, but the returns are 249. I am sure the prices will drop a little. If not I will have to stay in Florida for the winter :rotfl: :goodvibes could be worse.
