In Search of My Body - Not the One I Ate, VOL 7! Princesses? Nope, just us Goddesses!

Oh gosh - I hate posting and reading multi quotes when I haven't caught up. Such guilt.

Thanks for your message Mother Country girl - Charles is still here, yes? Or did he leave us already? Yes I'm sure you KNOW his itinerary.

Kelly - was it you who is seeing Michael Buble with your Mom? Is it you? He's really dirty you know - did you know that about him? Like down and dirty. :lovestruc The heart isn't for his down and dirty - it's for you.

We are having a fireworks display tomorrow, all the family will be there! Its my nieces first firework display, so we have some quiet baby fireworks then shes going to her nanans for the night and we'll break out the good fireworks! :rotfl2:

:rotfl: In Ohio it's Illegial to fire up the good ones. Only the rebels do that.

I do know that Charles has been in Toronto for 3 days, and he should have now left to go to Victoria. Hes in Canada for an 11 day tour :thumbsup2

It is indeed me and my mum who are going to see Michael Buble
Down and dirty you say? In a good way or a bad way? :rolleyes1

:lmao: I think we are rebels then! The good fireworks start after 8pm, Lyla will be long gone by then!

What are you talking about? Down and Dirty? (I keep putting in options but erasing - cause one persons down and dirty is another persons everyday.)

Im torn as to whether or not down and dirty is good or bad :confused3 I kind of like it though :rotfl2:

Hi everyone...

Crazy day - simply crazy at work. Getting a cold so I am miserable and a bit cranky. I admitted to being whiney last night during my workout with Jesse and he just laughed at me. Oh well...

Doing all right this week food wise. Still not quite 100% on, but a heck of a lot closer than I was. No gym time for me tonight, but am doing weights and cardio tomorrow and then my long walk (hopefully outside) on Sunday.

Have a great night everyone - I am off to a friend's birthday celebration tonight.

Cathie - the new omlette sounds yummy....

Happy Friday Afternoon! We have a warm spell going on - frost on my windshield this morning, 60 degrees today and close to 70 tomorrow. :worship:

Lisa, first...OMG! You are SUCH a goddess! AWESOME job on the BL. Of course, we have known of your awesomeness all alone.

Secondly, Lisa--OMG! You are evil! And NO ONE can start calling me that. Seriously, I will retaliate and it will be AWFUL. Word.

Have a house full of boys sleeping over tonight. Soccer team. Throwing pizza at them and then running away! Still, I love these boys. I would adopt them all in a heartbeat. This has been Riley's core group of friends since age 2, no kidding. And all of the parents are invested in making this year one in which they all stay really connected. They go to Middle School next year and we want them all going together as a solid unit. Gosh, Middle School scares the bejeebers out of me as a parent!

I will be up all night (well, almost all night) so I will posting here and on FB regularly.

Quick question...so my usual routine on Friday night is to have a drink or two. Really just one or two over the course of a few hours. But I have other people's kids here. What do you think? (I normally drink rum and diet or something like that, so it would look like I was just drinking soda.)

Lyz--as a non-drinker, I especially want your opinion on this. We all know that Liz and Nancy are gonna tell me to go for the booze! :rotfl2: But seriously, whether you drink or not or have kids or not, I would love to hear your opinions on this.

Ok, so I am BURSTING at the moment.

Was having dinner with the boys and one of them turned to Riley and said, "Dude, your mom is SO cool..." and the others all chimed in agreeing. (They are at that age where they are all really into iPods and music. And I have every generation and version of iPod ever made since I love tech gadgets so I was talking to all of them about it, plus talking music and bands. And apparently this is all it took to earn my coolness.)

It probably shouldn't matter to me what a bunch of 10 year old boys think of me, but it SO does.

Good question. Well, if the boys you are hosting, families are similiar to yours and would have a drink on Friday night - then I don't think it's a big deal.

If you were only having a drink or two, I don't think that affects you anyway so no harm.

You need to be able to drive no matter what.

Edit to add: IT SO DOES! lol.

That is a huge compliment E! Love it! Yes it matters!

YES! Utterly and completely! Congrats Lisa so proud of you!!!!!!!

I think that's cool you are keeping them all together! Even if they don't stay as close during middle school, at least they will know that they'll have those friends that they can always fall back on!!!!

Having severe post Disney blues today. (sigh) Carlos and I agreed that we probably wouldn't be going on vacation next year because we are going to try to save for the eventual wedding that will be coming up....but oh how I miss the mouse! I'd even settle for Disneyland, and driving there in my car so we didn't have to pay for plane tickets or rental car....It's a newer car, it'll make it lol.

Yes, definitely will be able to drive no matter what. And no, I don't think any of them would mind. I have seen all of them drink before and if the situation was reversed (and Riley sleeps over at each of their houses on a regular basis), I know that I wouldn't mind if they had a drink or two. But still...it seems odd to me. At least something I should think about as opposed to just take for granted, if that makes sense.

<== <Hides behind the sofa, to prevent getting hit with a pillow meant for Lisa. I'm sure E has great aim though.>
