In Search of My Body - Not the One I Ate, VOL 7! Princesses? Nope, just us Goddesses!

Hi - I was on here at 5:15 a.m this morning after a 9 p.m. bedtime and I could not get myself logged on - kept booting me out like I did not enter any info! :confused3

Good breakfast and lunch and I did walk 30 minutes at the Y at 7:45 a.m. and it was awesome! Watched AFV and it flew by. I increased my speed and used the intervel elivation so my calories burned went up by 30!

Baby steps but good progress!

Big party tonight with my sister...pray it goes well! :worship:

Here... sorta caught up... swamped.

Heading out to WDW tomorrow at a$$-thirty AM (like between 3 and 4) and will likely not be back on until Monday night. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Hi gang...

Sorry for my 'hiding' mode today. I have been lost in way too many thoughts that I have been struggling to deal with it all. Nothing major, just some stuff from work and some stuff going on in my head trying to process some of the thoughts I shared last night. Trying to accept and celebrate my sucess, but it is still a struggle. I am all right though. Just need to work through this and all.

.

:lovestruc Paula.

:lmao::rotfl::lmao:

I'm so flippin' tired I just backspaced through your entire quote Liz. Thanks for the taping. So appreciate it. It's the first twenty minutes when she is Denmark that I want. I love when she peers into people's lives around the world.

Also, thanks for your other thoughts. I so needed them today. I feel very very low (no idea). I'm very tired and should have just gone and had a nap (I'm at home) and didn't. And it would have helped I'm sure.

I decided last week at weigh in that I'm going to claim my weight total. For those who don't know when I first started losing weight I was never on a scale (caled the "good old days" - after this BL I'm going two weeks - I would prefer once a month). So I had no beginning number. Just an estimate. I know for a fact that I'm over 70 right now. So I'm going with the number I know and owning it now. So 70 it is.

I feel so incredibly tired today and so down. Just sucks. popcorn:: I just ate popcorn which is not a good sign. I don't love popcorn (cover your ears Liz. :lmao:)- which means I must have needed some shove in food time. It wasn't about loving food or hungry. And also it worries me because as a child I clearly remember shoving down popcorn to feel better. Well no not to feel better - to stop feeling actually. Okay - enough. Who knows. Feels like a dream I had last night but no memory.

Hope everyone is having a better day. I see it's in the 70s in parts in the East. Paula? Liz? Nancy? Hope you're all enjoying it. It sounds beautiful. It's around 50 here - we must have just missed the front of something.

Here are the kids with Iridessa (yellow), Tink, and Terrence (the boy fairy).

Wait, wait, wait. Back up the bus. Fairies are not BOYS. They are girls! I've never heard of a "boy fairy" before. Oh my. This is just not right. :sad2:

So I gave them the option to do some new things (I was pushing for Hall of Presidents and Carousel of Progress…they all looked at me and broke out laughing as though I had told the funniest joke ever).

WHAT? Your kids have never been on CoP? Are you KIDDING? That is totally classic Disney. First the "boy fairies" then never been on CoP. I don't think I can take much more. :faint:

Awesome job Dawn! :thumbsup2 I have more I want to say...but I need to go back and reread one of your previous posts - I'll have to catch up with that a little later.

70 Lbs? That is fabulous Lisa! So wonderful :lovestruc Sorry to hear you are feeling down. :flower3:

Cathie - OH, I hear you on the cake supply store. You and my daughter would be a financial nightmare if I let the two of you loose together :scared1: All that fun stuff is so addictive! What did you end up buying?

LisaV -

Aqua Aerobics was great! I wasn't the smallest person there, I wasn't the largest person there. In fact, there were sizes 0 up to size 30 and let me tell you - we all looked as awkward as each other in the water :rotfl2:
Ive already booked my place in next weeks class :cool1:

Im watching Question Time on TV at the minute. Its a political programme where they have different politicians etc on. Well tonights programme has been highly hyped in the media because one of the 'guests' is the leader of the BNP party - the most horrendous, disgusting, racist, anti-sematic, violent, facist political party this country has the misfortune to have. They have just recently started getting votes. I would rather cut off my arms, legs and head before I voted for the disgusting little man.
At the minute hes getting his a$$ handed to him by the rest of the panel and the audience. I despise the man, and thats not even a strong enough word to describe it.

Anyway, after that rant I hope everyones having a great day :upsidedow

OMG. I just choked on my tea. :rotfl:

Wow that must have hurt.

Thanks on the weight. It feels good to claim what I know. It sucks to never know the exact total. But I was getting so envious of all the totals on the BL and here that I thought "this is ridiculous Lisa - claim what you know and move on." So done.

Have a fabulous time Kat :cool1:

Some scary thinkers in this world, eh Kelly? And the worst is not them in isolation but how much charisma they have to many. I've always thought that following anything evil comes down to not having hope/passions in your own life. Meaning that of course that doesn't make you follow evil people - but it sure makes for fertile ground.

Wonderful on the gym. How is your sciatica?

It is scary. Before the last local elections the BNP were just the weirdos handing out leaflets on the street corner, then all of a sudden they gained support and now they are being given the platform to spout their hate through the media. You're right, people are taken in by their charisma and its very worrying to me.

My sciatica is doing pretty well - I still have to take painkillers but the exercise is definitely working, Ive got lots more energy and im able to get a full nights sleep because Im not in as much pain! :thumbsup2

Oh, and don't think I missed your post about your total weight loss, I was just waiting for the right time to break out these guys :dance3::yay::woohoo::cool1::cheer2::worship:

Hi all.

Really great job on weight loss this week for so many of you! :worship::cool1:

I just got back from my party and my sister had 9 orders for about $600 so far! She had about 5 more outside orders to get still and the ladies there want her to have another party the first week of December so they can order more stuff for holiday gifts! :woohoo:

As far as the fairy comment Nancy - I was totally thinking the same thing! :rotfl2:

Tonight my sister had a buffalo chicken cheese dip in the crock pot...holy heaven it was great...Lyz better than the pecan bars.

I had a spoonfull of that and 7 chips and 1/2 piece of salami and no cookies or brownies. We also have a ton of both sweets around here from when Treyner was here and I have not touched it for 2 days! :yay: I really crave chocolate right before Tom but otherwise can leave it. Salty crisps are another thing!

I should still be in range for points for today though and made good choices throughout the day so we shall see how the weekend goes.

I am going to try water aerobics tom at the Y - they have it every day for 45 minutes. I would then like to get dressed and walk for another 30. I iwll see how my energy level goes.

Next week I hope to go to the Y with Carsyn so she can teach me all the machines so I can do strength training 3 x a week plus the water/walking.

I really am motivated in the morning and it is so easy to drop off the kids and just go straight there - not let life get in the way.

I will post my weigh in's here on Wed mornings.

Have a great night everybody. I get to see Dan again tom and I can't wait!

Kelly - it is extremely frightening how easily people can be influenced sometimes when they want *change*. Glad to hear that your water aerobics class went well.

I really am motivated in the morning and it is so easy to drop off the kids and just go straight there - not let life get in the way.

Dawn - I'm really proud of you. You're doing some really great things for yourself. Feels good, doesn't it? :goodvibes

As for me...Got my butt whooped again this morning by Erin. Freakin' insane circuit including the kettle bell. I was *this close* to puking today. OY. And I pay for this punishment

Oh - and I had a woman come into the shop today and tell me that my pecan pie was (and I quote...) "better than sex". Either that was one incredible pie or that poor woman has a lousy sex life :rotfl:

Here is the mini update about Treyner's visit with pics for those who asked!

I picked him up from the airport and had dropped the other 2 off at Mall of America under the guise that I had business to deal with and surprise them that he was in town because I had not told them.

Treyner and my plan was to have Carsyn and Baylor stand in a store that has loads of Sponge Bob characters and take pics for our Christmas card. Treyner would come behind them and get in the pic and then put his arms around them to surprise them.

I called the younger ones and arranged a place to meet saying I was back from my business deal. As soon as I saw Carsyn I knew she knew! :headache: She was laughing and giggling and her eyes were shiny. Baylor looked like he had swallowed a Cheshire cat and had the biggest grin. I asked them as non-challant as I could, "What's so funny?"

Carsyn said, "What are you hiding?"

I asked her what could I possibly be hiding?

"My brother," she said all proud.

I tell her I have no clue what she is talking about.

She tells me she saw on facebook this morning Treyner's roomate at 1 am said he had to get up at 4 am to take Treyner to the airport.

Frickin Facebook!

I tried to budge that around the fact he is traveling to SC in a few weeks and told her he was going early.

I looked at Baylor and he was just grinning and saying he did not know what to believe.

So I took them over to the Nickelodeon store and Baylor agreed to take some pictures while Carsyn sure she was right, looked all over for Treyner.

She finally agreed to get into the picture and Treyner with sunglasses on came around from the back of the store.
P1020969.jpg

She saw him and that was it! She starts crying, he starts hugging both of them and Baylor is wiping more tears from his eyes than I thought possible. I think Treyner was taken aback at how old he was looking in just 2 1/2 months and how much they both adore him.

This picture was taken just moments after and Baylor has never had a more genuine, happy smile. I think I will use this for holiday cards this year.
P1020970.jpg

I had a friend who had given me unlimited ride wristbands for the indoor amusement park there so the kids spent the next few hours on rides and just enjoying the heck out of each other.

P1020972.jpg

P1020973.jpg

P1020979.jpg

This ride is like Buzz Lightyear/Toy Story without the greatness of Disney.

P1020980.jpg

I love this pic because it is so my kids. Treyner asked Carsyn if she wanted to see how strong his hands had gotten. She said sure and he play slapped her on the forehead. (I found this out after because I was asking them to look my way and all of a sudden the boys were laughing at her and she was holding her head. Don't feel bad for her - she gave him a dead leg ten seconds later.)

Baylor seems to be looking more mature lately.

Carsyn trying to act like she does not belong to the boys...

This ride is like a huge skateboard that twirls you and shoots you back and forth on a big ramp.

Baylor tried to see if he could reach as far as Treyner and Carsyn offered to give him a boost!

P1020999.jpg

Then it was bumper cars and my kids being overly competitive decided they would manually push their cars into position to have the best take off and smash while everyone normal was just happy to sit and get buckled in.

Treyner did not think out the process of what the floor would do to his hands!

Then my niece Skyler came!

We left the mall about 7 p.m. went home and had a nice night. Next day was Skyler's birthday and then the kids stayed with Chad and he took Treyner to the airport at 4a.m. to head back to Colorado.

Nancy - thanks for the boost - it does feel really good!

Can you PM me the recipie for the Pecan Pie so when Dan is gone I have something to look forward to! :lmao:

Ok seriously - if it is not a secret recipie I would love it!:)

Drinking poolside. 80 degrees. Heaven. Word.

Are you still drinking poolside - 80 degrees. Heaven and word. :lmao:

Cause I can't seem to get my flippin' head off your incredible afternoon and evening.

You're killing me Erika. I SO want to be there right now.

Kat - Wow, your trip came up so fast! Why are you going? Just to go?

Paula - How's work?

Lyz - how's Molli?

Nancy - I can believe that you make a pie better than sex!

Kelly - Honey, you look GOOD. I am so glad you embraced your bathing suit self!

Dawn - super nice visit!

Cathie - ah, yes, emotional work. So fun, isn't it? Listen, I was thinking last night that I wish like hell I'd been doing this at 24. So you are ahead of the curve! Remember that!

Lisa - yes, so jealous of E. And OMG so funny re rum and coke. You are sooo my girl.

Amy - how goes it? How's D?

Amiee - still with us, babe? Swamped?

E - Loving the TR!!! How can you not look at Cammie and see you? Oh, it's like looking at my BFF in her face!

Kelly - so proud of you for conquering the pool. Enjoy the freedom!!!

Nancy - almost puking after a workout. That must have been one heck of a workout. Remind me never to let Erin meet Jesse.

Hi everyone - I have been in meetings all day. Big presentation on Monday morning and will likely be working through part of the weekend to get ready. Keep those fingers and toes crossed. Still a bit of an emotional train wreck at the moment, but getting better. Had a great conversation with my buddy from college last night and things are starting to regain their perspective.

Off to bed, I have a ridiculously early day tomorrow (and a workout with Jesse so someone shoot me now - :rotfl:)

Later...

PS - Safe travels Kat!
