Thanks for all the well wishes! I was glad to hear the good news come from his mouth yesterday! I had the feeling it wasn't going to be good!

So today it is 85! I went out this morning and had coffee by the river and then cleaned up the mess the dog made. She shredded a plastic bag all over the living room! great!
Then had my LAST tanning session. Came back and sat in the back yard talking to the neighbors and then off to cover my grays. I came back and sat again in the back yard. Steph and I are going out for some "us" time. I will actually get to sit through dinner without telling someone to be polite while they eat.

Liz thanks for posting my result! I was swamped at work last night even had a stabbing well actually 2 stabbings come in father and son, not sure if they stabbed each other or someone else stabbed them. Nothing like an adrenaline rush when a trauma is called. I have tonight off then I will work tomorrow for another girl. then off monday which will be 80 again! woo hoo tomorrow it's going to pour all day...

Ok off to pay some bills!

Well I'm back! The airshow was wonderful, especially the Blue Angels. Man, those jet engines streaking over your head, what a rush. But, the down side is, I'm now a crispy critter. Yes, my fair skin is now burned.

Everyone - Hi!

No damage done (or no more than usual) when I fell down, just aching bones! That might be as much to do with the crazy dancing as the fall

So, Im pissed today. And I mean pissed.
MIL just called and happened to mention that she had some photos to show us. Family photos that they had taken at a castle near us yesterday (do you see where im going with this?). Yep, family photos that didn't include DH.
Everyone was there - MIL, FIL, BIL & SIL, other BIL, SIL's sister etc. No DH.

Now, granted I am not a parent so maybe I dont understand parent/child relationships so this is a question for all the parents on the thread - Would any of you knowingly have family photos taken and NOT include one of your children?

Im just so damn angry for DH, and hurt for him too. Hes not in at the minute so he doesn't even know about the photos.

Im just going to have a bath and relax, have some food and watch Britains Got Talent (got to love this program!) and put MIL out of my mind.

Okay, update from NJ aka Party Central. We went to the beach. It was 90 here and 60 there. Left after an hour - Liz and cold do not go. Then we came home, Kat got to meet my parents, Emily left with them, we got pretty and went shopping. Then dinner out at a surprisingly fancy place, pasta! and home. We have our outfits out and prepping for tomorrow! Race day!

Yes, the beach was cold. It was cold even for me, in a sweatshirt and shorts. Weird because it was 85+ everywhere else, but like 60 and windy on the beach.

It was still fun, though, love the water.

So beach, lunch (more yummy subs), to friend's house to help her get ready for the party tomorrow, shower/get ready, off to outlet malls to get me something white to wear under the race tee tomorrow, and then to nice dinner with friends.

Liz just finished synching our music for tomorrow so that we can listen to the thread playlist when we run tomorrow. I get to guess whose song is whose while we are running.

Good day. Liz really knows how to entertain! She has a lovely home and she and Nick and all of the friends that I have met so far, couldn't be nicer.

I'm so spent. Just finished the FOURTH playoff game. The place is a such a a mess. All day I was going thank God I live in 440 - so little to pack. And then when you pack and pack and pack you go where the hell do you put everything. No second, third, fourth room or basement. The terrace is stacked.

My friend had a daily funny inside joke in our music class. Therer was this really annoying pompous princess that simply was like nails on a chalkboard. And every day we would decide where we would send her - down which river - on her personal raft we imagined her on.

Kelly - every single time she's an a$$ send her on her raft please.

We'll all join in and decdie on her weekly destination.

I am so curiuos about the hubby. Her hubby. What the heck does he do?

You know Kelly you're scaring me. My niece, the one that is getting married soon, is inheriting a similar MIL monster.

She volunteers to sew, actually announces is a better word, that she will personally sew the bridesmaid's dresses.

Oh thanks! Wow, surprisingly generous of her.

And then months later adds that she's only doing two of the dresses. Her daughters and her daughter's good friend's dress.

There is another bridesmaid - my other niece.

Her son has a semi backbone and says, "Mom all or nothing!".

A particular kind of crazy I'd say.
