In Search of My Body....Not the One I ATE! Vol. 5: Goddesses are Always on Top!

I have so much to do this week too, E. Parents left this AM, and I need a vacation from it! I am used to weekends being true down time, and this one was go go go.

I leave to see Liz on Thurs and didn't get to all of my laundry this weekend so I have a nice pile awaiting me when I get home from hockey tonight (likely around 10:30PM or so). And all I want to do right now is lay down and sleep....

Steph - I read the Clique series. Molli and I loved them. There is a clique of girls exactly like that in her grade.

Amiee - forgot. Joe is the black one.

I am "HEARTING" these books! I am reading one a day... that only leads to the fact that Sam doesn't have them all and Now I am on the last one! Need to go buy the rest! Oh yes I see Sam's school and my school Heck I even see my work in these books!
Love LOVE the names of the Pigs this year! I love Aerosmith! They don't live to far from my aunts house, but I think we already discussed this... member Erika had a picture on her camera but she lost the camera!

Steph--The Clique series...Cam is so wanting to read this and I keep saying no. She is only 8 and it is too mature for her in terms of theme. But the kid devours books and I am out!
Yeah it is a little to "OLD" for her, I would think though in the next few years it will be ok. Sam used to read the beverly Cleary books and there was another one that she read too but I am blanking on the name ......???:confused3

Hey everyone :flower3:

Im back - after a 9 hour delay :scared1: We should have landed back at 12.10pm, instead we landed at 9.15pm!

So so tired! I'll read back tomorrow - off to bed now :cloud9:
KELLY I AM SO GLAD YOUR HOME!!!! Can't wait to see all the pictures!

Hit me with your questions - im ready! :lmao:

I didn't get lots of sleep last night, at midnight I decided I was hungry but of course we have no food in the house - below are the contents of my fridge:

One Cadburys Creme Egg
Two Dairy Milk Caramel Eggs
Six (yes, six!) Galaxy Caramel Eggs
Four Chocolate Rice Crispie Buns
Half a pint of Skimmed Milk
Jar of Mayo
Bottle of Sweet Chilli Sauce

And that was it! So I did what any self respecting person would do and I ate the Creme Egg with a cup of Tea! :rotfl2:

Ive got pics when I find my camera and lots to tell! At the minute im supposed to be paying bills online but im catching up with all the programmes I recorded - so far ive watched 24, CSI, The Mentalist, Dirty Sexy Money, Criminal Minds and NCIS. Just CSI NY, Grey's, ER and Heroes to catch up on.

Hmm, reading that I realise I watch FAR too much TV! In my defence, I did go on the cross trainer whilst watching some of the programmes - Ive put on 100lbs surely this week!
OH OH SO NOT FAIR YOU STILL HAVE DIRTY SEXY MONEY!! NOT FAIR AT ALL ! I don't think we have had them since the network strikes!

Hi Gang!

Checking in from Norwood, MA! Boston Marathon is today so we are waiting until the city clears out to head in.

Lisa, good luck!!! We will be thinking of you and cheering you on.

Love and hugs to all! Have to go make signs for Bruuuuuuce now.
Liz have fun! I loved going to Boston to watch the marathon! Have a great time at the concert.

UGH! Totally unproductive day so far. And I leave for campus in like an hour.

Hi! So I finally got around to making my ADRs (I know, I know...) and the good news was that I got absolutely everything I wanted at the times I wanted. Easy peasy. But, I need some help. We are only there a couple of days before the cruise and we are staying at BCV...

Dinner Thursday - we arrive around 2pm and won't go to a park. Likely, we'll head over to DTD, so I have reservations .

Friday - b'fast in villa (thanks for DVC!)
lunch at The Plaza in MK
dinner at Beaches-n-Cream

Saturday - b'fast in villa
lunch at Coral Reef
dinner at Chefs de France

Sunday - b'fast is character b'fast at O'hana, then leave immediately for the cruise port.

So, here's my issue. I would rather not eat at Coral Reef. Somewhere else in Epcot instead. But the kids' menus at the WS restaurants are crap. Almost nothing to choose from. But then again, we are NOT on the DDP (we have Tables in Wonderland, which is an automatic 20% of entire bill). We far prefer sit down as opposed to counter service. And we order what we want and we share, etc. So much better for us than the DDP. We spend less, eat less, and get to have two TS each day.

We love Chefs de France, so that is a keeper. But where to go for lunch? Italy is a doable. But it ends up being expensive just for pasta. Mexico has vegetarian options, though nothing for kids. Japan we would love to do and have sushi, but again, nothing for the kids. Germany and Canada are all meat. Any good thoughts? I have been through all of the menus and nothing is jumping out at me.

I supposed I could switch France to lunch and then eat on the Boardwalk for dinner. Hmmm...that's a thought. Or we could go back to the villa for lunch (and pool time) and then France for dinner. Our Epcot day is usually--get there for rope drop, spend from 9 - 2 or so in the park. Then back to BCV for pool time and cocktails, then back to the park at 6-ish for dinner, a stroll around WS and Illuminations.

I say just get them an adult meal and split it. Go to Japan. Doesn't Riley love sushi? I say, stay away from Coral Reef. You are in the heart of the action, my golly, you have so many choices.

Someone is a little pushy.... I promise to try and get the TR done tonight. I need some pics from my sister's camera to do the trip justice...

Off to JC and then to see Dad. Hopefully, then I can get to the gym and then write the TR for Lyz. I do don't want her on my case for any longer than is necessary... (love you Lyz)

Later,
Paula

Erika - I say if you don't like the Coral Reef then don't go there. I would switch the France ressie to lunch and head for the Boardwalk for dinner. You really liked Spoodles, but I am not sure if it is still open. I thought I read somewhere that Kat Cora was opening a restaurant there.

Catching up at some point. Qs for Kelly. #1 How was she?

Lyz - went on when I got in. Sent you an IM. Sort of teasing about hubby in pic?? and then thought when you weren't there or answering , "**** what if you aren't at the computer and he walks by and is". So I ran. :lmao:

Good morning everyone. Just a quick pop in for challenge update. I have lots of pre-flight/vacation stuff to do today along with working.

Weight: -3 and holding. I went up a pound but after the 12 miles yesterday am back at my goal weight. Here's hoping it lasts through vacation and the full 26.2!

Miles: This week 29.63. I hope you will forgive me for being in taper!

I have 6.5 on for today, 3 Wednesday and 3 Thursday and then the race. We fly out of Portland at 5:40 a.m. tomorrow morning so we have to be up and on the road by 3 at the latest. Makes for a long day with kids. It is supposed to be 80 degrees race day which is a concern also. I have not seen those temps since last summer.

I hope everyone stays well while I am gone. I will check in on Monday the 27th with all the news that is news from the Nashville trip. Take care everyone!

Wow Lisa - that came quickly! Have a great race. :thumbsup2

I leave for vacation in 17 days. I can't tell if I am more excited or stressed! There is just SO much to do!

Listen Missy - I close in ten days and I'm sitting on my a$$.

Allegedly

:lmao:

So Kelly - #2 -

After you tell me she behaved -

How is your hubby feeling?

Nice weather?

Wedding stories?

Did MIL comment as white dress went by?

Breathtaking views?

Amy - is he happier in Florida today? Remind me why you both decided on Florida. I forget. Did you meet at school?

LisaV-- GO PACK!! :)

DH is much happier today. Florida just kind of happened. It's where he found a job after his first masters degree in 2000 and after 6 months apart (Me in NC and him in FL), I couldn't stand it so I applied to grad school at UF, and got a totally sweet fellowship which meant I paid nothing except for books. So I came down here too. When I got my masters in 03, I looked out of state, but my found the job where I was at until I was laid off in October. So that is how we got to FL. There are alot of things about it that we love, but know for sure at some point we want a change. More land. And we miss the seasons changing. Maybe closer to family too. That's probably more than you wanted to know, but we have been talking about it alot lately so it is all right there...

Kat--are you still awake??

Lyz--Finally looked at the pig pictures! So cute!

Let's just get this straight Amy. For curious people - there isn't "more than you wanted to know". :lmao::lovestruc

So interesting to me how people got here or there. Thanks for that Amy.

You're a smarty pants, eh Amy? You are, aren't you? Look at you.
