Hi! So I finally got around to making my ADRs (I know, I know...) and the good news was that I got absolutely everything I wanted at the times I wanted. Easy peasy. But, I need some help. We are only there a couple of days before the cruise and we are staying at BCV...
Dinner Thursday - we arrive around 2pm and won't go to a park. Likely, we'll head over to DTD, so I have reservations .
Friday - b'fast in villa (thanks for DVC!)
lunch at The Plaza in MK
(LOVE THE PLAZA)
dinner at Beaches-n-Cream
Saturday - b'fast in villa
lunch at Coral Reef
dinner at Chefs de France
Sunday - b'fast is character b'fast at O'hana, then leave immediately for the cruise port.
So, here's my issue. I would rather not eat at Coral Reef. Somewhere else in Epcot instead. But the kids' menus at the WS restaurants are crap. Almost nothing to choose from. But then again, we are NOT on the
DDP (we have Tables in Wonderland, which is an automatic 20% of entire bill). We far prefer sit down as opposed to counter service. And we order what we want and we share, etc. So much better for us than the DDP. We spend less, eat less, and get to have two TS each day.
We love Chefs de France, so that is a keeper. But where to go for lunch? Italy is a doable. But it ends up being expensive just for pasta. Mexico has vegetarian options, though nothing for kids. Japan we would love to do and have sushi, but again, nothing for the kids. Germany and Canada are all meat. Any good thoughts? I have been through all of the menus and nothing is jumping out at me.
I supposed I could switch France to lunch and then eat on the Boardwalk for dinner. Hmmm...that's a thought. Or we could go back to the villa for lunch (and pool time) and then France for dinner. Our Epcot day is usually--get there for rope drop, spend from 9 - 2 or so in the park. Then back to BCV for pool time and cocktails, then back to the park at 6-ish for dinner, a stroll around WS and Illuminations.
