Alcohol drinks at Contemporary Cafe?

Hi, we are going to be on the DDP, which includes an alcoholic beverage at CS and TS. We plan on going to the Contemp Cafe for an early lunch two days. We want our alcoholic beverage to bring back for the evening when we get back to our resort. Can we take the drinks to go? I am assuming they are in a small closed bottle? Not sure how CS give you your alcoholic drinks. No, we are not huge drinkers but it's vacation time and we like 1 or 2 during the day at some time!

I can't speak to dining plan, but they do have cans of beer, sangria, and single serve mini bottles of wine.

Having stayed at Bay Lake Tower I can confirm the above. In addition having used the DDP, they are included. The only issue I see in your plan is transporting the alcohol around. If you are driving your own car then great, but Disney transportation does not allow alcohol on it.
They will check you to get on the monorail with metal detectors and they will most likely ping/check your bag and not allow them through.
The other issue is you are saying this is an early lunch- are you heading back to your resort or going to a park? Trying to get into a park with the alcohol will also be flagged and you won't be able to get in with it.

I had cans of beer delivered to Bay Lake for my brother who was staying at OKW. He had to use buses to transport it back since he could not use the monorail.

Wow. I guess security goes thru the bags before you can enter monorail and MK in that area. Kind of ridiculous you can't have a closed container of alcohol.

It's because they don't want it opened in the parks.
