In Search of my Body...Not The One I Ate.. #4 "Inspiring Others... 1 Tiara at a Time"

Its snowing! :cool1:
I looked out of the window and the sky is white, if it carries on like this in oh, 4 or 5 days I'll be able to go snowshoeing! :rotfl2:

Bad thing about the snow - I jumped up off the floor so fast (don't ask!) that I banged my head on the mantlepiece  made me feel sick for a while but its passed now.

Erika - Glad you're having a fantastic weekend!

Everyone :wave2:

Erika beat me to it! Kelly, your new nickname is Bella. :rotfl2:

Church is closed due to the power outage and most of the schools are still without power. Monday isn't looking too promising. OMG they must go to school. The kids were relatively good during this mess, so I promised them a movie day.

As far as the challenge goes, I still have no clue, but I will get it this evening. I have to buy my groomsmaid dress by Mid-April and it can only be taken in 2 sizes. I need to bust my a@@ during the next month and 1/2. Here is the thing that has been bothering me for a while ~ I have only lost 1 size with a 40 lb loss. I would think with that kind of loss, I would be down 2 sizes. :(

Off to the movies and then work I go. Will check back in later.

MORNING! I am having a fantastic week-end, FYI. :goodvibes

Ok, so the new challenge! The following have signed on and have posted their goals:

Erika
Kat
Lisa/PR
Lyz
Sunny
Stacey
Dawn
Kelly
Nancy
Amy
Paula

This is our Spring Break Challenge. It lasts for 6 weeks, ending on March 15th (which happens to be my 12th Wedding Anniversary).

If you want to join the challenge, just post your goals. I will post the chart tomorrow.

Have a great day all! And have fun tonight! Seems like we all have plans. :cool1:

Erika - didn't realize this was more than just feb, i'd like to amend my goal from 7 lbs to 10 lbs please!!!!

Hi Ladies!

Erika--A tri? Awesome! The swimming part would surely kill me! Also, am amending my challenge again. I forgot it was 6 weeks, so after I finish the 1/2 on March 1st, I am dropping my long run for the last 2 weeks of the challenge and replacing it with more 30DS or pilates.

Kelly-So sorry that you can't see all of Edward.  Can everyone else see him?

I'll be starting my 4 miler once DH is out of the shower.

Amy

This is our Spring Break Challenge. It lasts for 6 weeks, ending on March 15th (which happens to be my 12th Wedding Anniversary).

Since this is 6 weeks, not just the month of Feb, I'm going to ammend my goals as well - mostly the exercise minute total. I'll get back to you on that after I've had a little time to calculate.

Its snowing! :cool1:

Thank GOD someone else is having the snow for a change :upsidedow Glad you are enjoying it Kelly!

Here is the thing that has been bothering me for a while ~ I have only lost 1 size with a 40 lb loss. I would think with that kind of loss, I would be down 2 sizes. :(

One size :confused3 really? That does seem totally unfair.

Hi everyone...

Erika - a tri.. you go girl!!! can't wait to hear all about it.

Kelly - have fun in the snow (and please keep it - we have more than enough)

Just a quick post to say hi to everyone. I am off to the gym to do some cardio (and yes Nancy - intervals) and then back here to get ready for the game. We are planning lots of healthy snacks as well as some not so healthy. If I plan accordingly, I should be all right. Besides, I have a scarf to finish knitting for a friend so my hands will be busy.

And - I did get another five or six chapters into Twilight last night (in between caring for my dog who is recovering form ACL surgery and is so not a happy camper). It is getting better, but I still think that Bella is a whiner. (sorry Liz). Of course - I don't think that about Kelly / Bella...

Have a great day everyone and I'll talk to you later,
Paula

Oh absolutely! A Quick Bite is the first one and they do not have to be read in exact order, but I am OCD about that.

Me too. Must read in order.

Just want you all to know, that I did it. All by myself. :cool1:

(aren't you proud of me :rotfl: )

Go NANCY!!!!!

Liz-You most post pics of any purchases you made from coach.

WORD!

Amy - I can see the picture. (when logged out, when logged in my signatures are off)

Still waitin' for my whistle though....

Nancy - your request for a whistle has been denied. People with short attention spans and high level of energy do not get access to whistles. Read your manual.

Holy Crap...I just signed up for a triathlon. March 8th. That is 5 weeks from today. :scared:

OH MY! WHere is this at? Do you have enough time to train and taper? Details? (It's freaky, I know running terms! I know a 5k is not 5 miles.)

Erika - didn't realize this was more than just feb, i'd like to amend my goal from 7 lbs to 10 lbs please!!!!

Step Back! Stacey's on a roll.

~ I have only lost 1 size with a 40 lb loss. I would think with that kind of loss, I would be down 2 sizes. :(

Where your clothes too big before you lost the weight?

I got nothing to report. Normal Saturday. Dinner in Columbus, ice cream at Cold Stone, well, I guess we did kick things up by stopping at target.

Sunday, church. Superbowl.

Off to take my Sunday Afternoon Nap:cloud9:

Interesting. I don't remember thinking that. She kinda is. Is that making it hard to enjoy the book or are you "into it"?

Poor pooch.

4 miler is done!! Just over 49 minutes which includes my warm up and cool down. One of my miles was sub 12 too. I probably should have done 5, but towards the end I ended up with pain on the side of my right knee. This is new. :confused3

I plan on hopping on the new shoe shopping wagon tomorrow. I'll definitely be ready for 6 miles next week then 8ish and then 9-10, then 1/2 marathon!!. By some miracle, I haven't lost much off my endurance/stamina at my 1/2 marathon pace. I didn't walk at all the whole 49 minutes!:cool1: Anyhow, probably way more details than you wanted, but I am excited about how well it went!

Off to :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1

Somewhat of a random post here. Just something that made me say "huh".

My journal is actually a 3 ring binder. In the back, I have pages of "frequently eaten foods" and their corresponding WW points. As I sat down just now to journal my food so far today, I flipped the page to *almost* where I needed to be. What I actually opened up to was a page that I had written a quote on. Found it in there totally randomly, but thought it appropriate in many different ways. It can mean so many different things - or nothing at all, I suppose. Depends upon what each individual reads into it. It's not documented, but I *think* it was something that Jillian Micheals had said on one of the BL episodes.

"If things are not uncomfortable, nothing is going to change".

Yeah, yeah and flippin' yeah.

Glad to hear that Allison is out. And I hope some better news comes soon. I assume it is all ongoing. I assume.

So glad you're here. Missed you so.

Nancy - your request for a whistle has been denied. People with short attention spans and high level of energy do not get access to whistles. Read your manual.

what? That's totally NOT FAIR. Where can I file an appeal? :confused3 Just because I have a short att...wait....there was a manual? How'd I miss the manual? :lmao:

Hi Sunny!!! Welcome.

That's so lovely what your grandfather said. So lovely. I wish I was born with that. One can dream. :lmao: :rotfl: :lmao: . Oh well.

Lyz....Whitsle. Funny stuff. And Nancy has been so funny lately! Love it when Nancy brings the funny! :rotfl2:

Amy--woo hoo on the run! I had to force myself out today and managed a great run. Don't you love it when that happens? I got 4.5 in today, and I set out to do 4. I was just in a groove so I threw in the extra half.

Lyz--yes, I have time to train for this tri. No taper will be needed. Just rest two days before. (Take two days totally off.) It is a super sprint tri, which means really short distances. I could do it cold without any training. But I will train for the swim since it has been ages and ages since I have done any "real" swimming. Since I swam competitively all through grade school and high school, I am hoping that my rhythm will come back pretty naturally. That could be wishful thinking considering that the last time I swam anything that even remotely could be considered a lap I didn't have any children. Yes, Riley is 9. Almost 10.

I have been saving my calories so I can splurge some tonight.

Amiee - that's lovely what you said about your friend. So you are compatible and he's respectful. I understood perfectly what you were saying about taking charge etc. You weren't babbling or rambling or whatever you said. I was being naughty and inquiring about a different kind of chemistry.

Stacey!!!! You're back and congrats on the challenge. Well done my friend.

Nancy - When are you going to your new home in Mexico? When? It is yearly? Points based? Set week? YOu must be so thrilled about losing weight on the challenge, eh? I mean since you're so fit, so small and lifting. That's fantastic.

Kat - You're home. :wave2: Do you have another one planned. A la DVC?

Paula - 10 pounds. Paula is getting a tad cocky, eh? :lmao: :rotfl: :lmao:  . Paula you are inspiring everyone. Thanks for that.

Amy - I am still so psyched over the 180s.

Erika - Tri!!!!! Lisa is in heaven. When where and all the info please and thank you.

Thanks for all your work with us. So we are going for six weeks? I'll post later - I'm in an absolute mood.

Liz - miss you. Jodi?

Lisa - :wave2: Running? I would like to know if you feel a lot better about things. I mean the comments and such. Has time made a difference?

Lyz - still smiling that you're here. And I love that you love naps. I so love naps. Love them.

Dawn - :wave2: How are you doing with everything? I must go back and read. I feel like I'm missing something. Forgive me - I'm off today.

Kelly - Where are you in England? I forget. Inform me. How is your head today? That must of hurt.

Who the heck did I forget? Ah....

LisaZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hi Lisa :flower3: We are one year apart. I'm 1967.

Hi Melissa if you're out there reading.

Sunny - so glad to have you here. So happy.

Well folks. The ridiculous behaviour is back on. I saw another big change in my body. In a mirror. I'm nearing onederland - which for me means near goal. :lmao: :rotfl: :lmao: Just laughing for you. (Newbies - I'm meant to be "big". I am naturally "big" and weigh more than I look). And I saw changes in me. Caught a guy checking me out - which deserves some kind of award for me in itself to catch a thing. And well saw lovely changes in my body and have ate and ate and ate every since. For days. Since weigh in. Ridiculous flippin' insane crazy behaviour. Sighing. C-R-A-Z-Y!!!!!

And I'm tired of looking at my weight. Not tired of trying to eat consciously and working out. But very tired of looking at numbers and thinking where I'm at and where I want to be. Would just love to love this right now. Cause if I didn't drop another pound I look fine. But I have to because I'm in the BL and don't want to quit. But very very tired.

Interesting. I don't remember thinking that. She kinda is. Is that making it hard to enjoy the book or are you "into it"?

Poor pooch.

I am still getting into the story, but not in that totally swoony kind of way. But that's just me. I am not a big reader so sometimes it takes me a while to get into a book.

I totally love that quote... Something new to put in my head while I am getting the cr@p kicked out of me during my workouts. BTW - Core sucks...

Paula - 10 pounds. Paula is getting a tad cocky, eh? :lmao: :rotfl: :lmao:  . Paula you are inspiring everyone. Thanks for that.

Not cocky, but assertive. I need to push myself on this. I have been in a rutt for like a year and it is time to bust myself out of it...

Lisa - so happy for you that you are seeing changes. Now is the time to listen to your body. It will tell you where it wants to be. Your mind will catch up.

Workout is done. 35 minutes on the bike w/ intervals. I am exhausted and sore from yesterday's workout (shoulders and core). I am off to have some lunch and then do nothing for a while.

Can't wait to hear how everyone's weekend is going...
