In-room coffee makers

I was just wondering what size are the in-room coffee makers? 4-6 cup or 8-10. I'm thinking of bringing extra filters & coffee. THANKS!!

i'm wondering about the filters too...do they provide them? i assume 1 a day. i don't have to worry about bringing coffee as i will be buying a bunch from kona right after we checkin.

We've stayed at value, mods & deluxe & every coffee maker we ever had was the little 4-cup ones (IMO only enough for 2 adults to have 1 cup each). They provide you with the filter packs that are pre-filled with ground coffee (like pods). I don't remember ever having to use a separate filter & then fill it with grounds. I could be wrong though, there's a lot of resorts we haven't gotten to (YET!) and they may use different coffee makers. This was our experience at ASSp, ASMu, CSR, Swan & AKL.

ah gotcha. that stinks...do you know what number size filter would fit in those? i guess the small basket looking ones, not the cone? i'm leaving tomorrow, and i have a feeling i'll be hitting the grocery store one last time tonight...

Thank you so much for the info. I do recall them using those pre-filled ones. But we don't get our room cleaned everyday so I was just thinking that instead of bothering housekeeping for some coffee I could just bring my own.

One of the Maxwell House filter packs works for the 4 cup and 2 for the 10 cup. We had a 4 cup in the mods and a 10 cup in the BWV. I'm not as fussy about the coffee as I am about wanting half and half. it is the first purchase I make when I get there.

We just returned from POR. While there was a small coffee maker in the room, no coffee, creamer or sugar were provided.

thanks for all the info. i'm gonna head out and buy filters. i would do the pre filled pods, but since we're staying at the poly, i'd much rather go with the kona coffee . i'll be sure to report back when i get home.

Can't you just ask the housekeeper or front desk for more packs of coffee? Do you get the Kona in the rooms at the Poly?

After staying at the Poly, I don't believe the Kona coffee is supplied in the rooms, it is the regular coffee. I buy the Maxwell House filter pacs. Not gourmet, but better than the Nescafe.
A pp is correct, one filter pack works in the usual 4 cup pot and 2 work in the full size pots at the DVC villas

Does anyone know if the Starbucks pods work in the coffee makers? I am going to be going through Starbucks withdrawls and would love to bring the pods on our trip.

Where will you be buying the creamer at, the resorts? I am needing my flavored creamer and wondering if anyone has seen this there?
