We are staying at the Swan so my understanding is that we will have an actual mini-fridge.

Would love to know all of your in-room breakfast ideas! I guess the thing that is catching me up right now is the lack of microwave/toaster in the room.

I'm coming up with croissants, fruit, cereal, yogurt... maybe some type of yogurt bowl?

I feel like there might be better ideas. We normally aren't huge breakfast people, but I'd like to have something that might stick with us a little bit to keep from being starving in the parks almost immediately!

On that note, what are some of your favorite park snacks to bring along. We definitely plan on eating in the parks, but would be good to have some snack on hand if we just need something to get us through until we are ready for a meal.

I find that something like instant oatmeal or the nut heavy Kind Bars are easy to pack and tend to stick with me better than many things. The Kind Bars can even go with you to the parks, if you’re not an early eater. For the oatmeal, I also take paper bowls and plastic spoons, but have used in room coffee cups as a substitute.

While you can use an in room coffee maker for hot water, I prefer to bring a small glass mug and an immersion heater, so that any tea or oatmeal I consume don’t taste like coffee.
