My mom made this snack over Christmas
it was a carmel type syrup
poured over corn chips

Snow, how was your day?

Yesterday was pretty good.
I baked cookies in the morning.
Then I started packing my suitcase and discovered
that I need to bring 2 since there is no way I can
fit everything in 1! Luckily Southwest lets you bring 2
suitcases for free and Carnival also allows 2

I would enjoy some lime tostitos about now....

I saw them at the grocery store yesterday

We booked the cruise on Easter
so we've been waiting a LONG time!
Plus I have a lot to get accomplished this week
and not enough time to do it all.
I'm sure once Friday night roles around I will
be very excited

I got all the Harry Potter books for Christmas.
I swore I would never read them since I really
had no interest reading about wizards, but Devon
convinced me to read them...and I love them!
I've finished the 1st one and I am hoping to be done
with the 2nd one by the time we leave. I'm bringing the
3rd and 4th along for some beach reading

I'm almost finished with season 1!
I've forgotten how much I love that show

We will be having a fun day at sea...

I know exactly how you feel. The christmas trip felt the same way. It didn't hit we were really going to Disney until we were there.

I just thought of something about this past trip I went on. We got to go behind one side of Main Street to exit the park. It was so different to see what it looked like, instead of seeing what we always see.

Yesterday I was battling with Sprint about the charges for my "free" upgraded picture mail....wasn't so free....but that call ended well after four representatives and two different calls (got cut off!)....but today is another story (next post)

DH woke at five and heard water...

upstairs supply line to toilet in kids bathroom broke through the night
water everywhere


inch or so on the floor there and surrounding areas
dripping through the ceiling and walls clear to the basement (which is finished)

called the insurance company so far
need to call a restoration service now

DH is very calm
it is only stuff
but going to be a mess 'round here for awhile


He is staying home today, looks like
I think it is better for me to go to work.....

Hearing water dripping is torture......
We didn't even bother to throw down towels
it is way beyond that....


I just made DH a cup of coffee and me some tea
no need to panic, doesn't help

It never gets old!
I do watch it ocassionaly on ABC Family
but I like watching it on DVD...no commercials!

We went to Mom's friend's house last night to celebrate Christmas
They gave me a Starbucks giftcard
We have a Starbucks at school and I have developed an addiction to it!
But it is so expensive and I have to use real money when I go to it when
I"m home instead of using points like when I'm at school (meal plan).
So I've only gotten it twice since being home! I think I may treat myself to
one today
