I got a very harsh note from a parent today:

Dear Mrs. Was40
Baby Boy is NOT to go outside when it is cold. Like it was cold yesterday. I talked to other parrets and they agree 2. What are you trying to do make all the kids sick?




Now, this did make me chuckle at the meanness of it, in fact I said to Baby Boy
"wow, this is an angry note!"


I wanted to reply:

Yes! I am trying to make all the kids sick, because my day is so enjoyable when no kids come to school.


But, I held back and did not reply at all.

DS's tooth started hurting
then he said it was better
but yesterday he said it is hurting again


so i called the dentist today
and they saw him right away

(you get treatment like that when you call them at home)
(remember that stupid thing I did)


anyway, Kimmy,
you will sympathize

he needs a root canal!

Good Friday Morning!

41 degrees and raw and rainy here in NY. Some areas have snow. We're expecting rain on and off through Monday!

Kimmy's trip is sounding very good to me, right now (actually any time!)

Rainy here
and cold


DS got the super idea to make deep fried oreos
which were good
but now the house smells like fried
yes, fried
it is a smell
and I don't care for that smell

I just lit my Yankee Candle (Macintosh apple)
to mask the fried smell


DS just recently discovered that we have a fry daddy
haven't used it in MANY years
now I remember why

tonight is a perfect night

DD10 is at a sleepover and
DD13 is at a friends until she calls

Yummy yummy deal of the day

I had two coupons for 55cents off any Reeses
and two buy one get one free coupons for Reeses

so DD10 and I stopped at Giant Eagle
where candybars are on sale for 50cents at the checkout register

and we got SIX Reeses for ONE DOLLAR!!!

DId you know Reeses makes Fast Break, Whips, Big Bar, regular reeses...
we are sampling them all!
