My neighbor (16 year old) got her wisdom teeth pulled this morning, she was put under for it (impacted) and is quite whiney right now, poor girl!

It won't last!

My neighbor (16 year old) got her wisdom teeth pulled this morning, she was put under for it (impacted) and is quite whiney right now, poor girl!

I had my bottom ones pulled when I was 13. I was supposed to be put under but at the last minute they decided to just do nova cane. Well the nova cane wore off mid-surgery It was a horrible horrible horrible experience that I have never forgotten. I had the top 2 pulled this time and the left one was impacted. Thankfully they gave me triple the dose of nova cane this time since I told them about my first experience.

How's our mouth feel, Snow?

Better. The swelling has gone done and the pain is probably at a 5. I still can't really chew and one of my stitches is hanging which is uncomfortable. I'm really getting tired of only eating applesauce, soup, pudding, and ice cream. I think I may switch if up and get a frappucino from starbucks tonight!

Just as weather.com predicted, it is a wonderful sunny rain free evening!

WE are off to the drive in
DH and I and FIVE girls aged 10-14....

I am packing up the cooler and the van right now
well, right now I am typing, but THEN I am packing up the sweatshirts and blankets and chairs....

DH seems less than excited to be going!



Oh, and I made all our Disney dinner reservations today....fun, fun, fun

No, it doesn't I am so hungry right now but there is nothing that I can eat that sounds appealing.

The stitches will dissolve, I'm hoping it heals correctly since they are hanging.

Tomorrow will be 1 year that I graudated from High School! I can't believe how fast the time went by, it seems crazy to me that I will be starting my 2nd year of college!

My friend who teaches said this about summertime for teachers:
the month of June is all Fridays,
the month of July is all Saturdays
and the month of August is Sundays

summer is one big weekend!!!!

Toy Story 3 was WONDERFUL!!!!

It was also a first in that it was the first time we didn't get rained on at the Drive In. We took five girls, and it was one big party. THey all slept over and then went to the same summer day camp together today. I took some picures of them being silly at the Drive in before it got dark.

Of course, I had to vacuum the back of the van today (they made a big "bed" out of it for viewing, and some of the snacks were still hiding there)

It was really fun!!

I was so busy this morning, getting all the girls breakfast before day camp, packing lunches, taxi~ing, cleaning out the van. I brewed a cup of tea and then didn't get around to drinking it, and I didn't eat.
I rushed to the Track (it was the summer camp track meet) to see DD11 compete in the relay events, and long jump, and softball throw (she won first place in the softball throw)!. It was so hot outside, and I hadn't eaten and I got very sick! I was nauseaus and woozy and I had to go sit in a teensy square of shade made by the shed they have at the track. I came home with teh AC blasting in the van and ate a big spoonful of peanut butter to get my blood sugar back up.

Yukky feeling, but good lesson to me! You must eat before trying to do a million things (like run around in the heat at the Magic Kindgom ) I will be sure we ALL eat breakfast on vacation, not just the kids!

It is a HOT sunny PA day!

We have been to church and are headed to a graduation party this evening.
DD11 is baking a blueberrry pie right now (just for us, not for the party)

We have been having a lot of wasps near the hot tub
and yesterday I looked up to see the siding bowed out on the second floor near the roof.

Today DH put the ladder up and went up with a can of wasp spray
but no bees

guess what was making the siding stick out?

A little. I'm sticking with soft foods (pancakes) and seem to be doing OK. My mouth is sore though because I haven't chewed anything since Tuesday morning.
The sideswept bangs are working out wonderfully I think I've finally worked out a style that works for me!

I have orientation tomorrow and then work starts on Tuesday. I'm doing the playgrounds again and I'm really hoping I get a better partner then I had last year. One of my friends who I've known since 2nd grade and who will be one of my suite mates next year is also doing it and we are REALLY hoping we get placed together, cross your fingers for us!
