I've been to Canada lots of times, we live about 40 minutes from Niagara Falls

How is it up there?

DD11 watched a dozen people do it, trying to decide if she wanted to spend her own money on it or not....

she can tell you the whole schpiel about oysters, their colors, etc

I guess one day I will decide. I would love for her to.

Molly Ringwald made the rounds yesterday on many morning shows promoting her new book "Getting the Pretty Back: Friendship, Family and Finding the Perfect Lipstick".

I saw her on the Today show. She looked pretty good. It was fun to see all the clips from her movies.

DD14 had a softball game tonight
cold for momma's watching

She had a great hit into the outfield
and a hit right to third, which beat her to first base

good game
her team won

Dinner a'la snack shack
nachos with cheese, soft pretzel, candy, pizza

Troubling week (and last) at work
one of our teachers is just plain angry
supposedly due to life situations
but he is taking it out on his fellow employees
(five women, one man in my hallway)

He is counting down the days
but it is not making him any nicer....


last week the spokeswoman (me) tried to reason with him
it did not go well

now he is basically not tallking to any of us
which is an improvement, really

but we don't care for drama or tension in the workplace

DH wants to hot tub
I have already had my cup of hot tea
and perhaps a few or a dozen hershey kisses

we are out of PB M's


so I guess I will soak with him for awhile
get warmed up before snuggling into bed

DD had a track meet tonight

and youngest DD "lost" my credit card in the van cup holder
the cup holder pushes in and pulls out of the console (very smoothly)
and for some stupid reason I dropped my card into the cup holder
DD11 pushed it closed, and the card jammed in there
and we couldn't get it out
and couldn't get the cup holder to open (as the card was jammed in there)

this did not make me happy

I was going to fill up the gas tank, but had no money....

Happy Saturday!

We got the credit card out, bent but not broken
and it still swiped in the gas machine, so unscathed

I was down to 17 miles remaining (my new van tells me how long until empty) I love that!

It is a sunny Saturday, the girls are ready to jump in the pool. It is about 75 degrees outside already.

Batting practice today but no other obligations...

I am babysitting right now, but she is six, not too needy and my girls are entertaining.

and take them today
