Opening day for softball is saturday, and earth day celebrations, and the forecast is rain and storms. Ugh!

It is a "birth your own" pearl
and has the cage/necklace to put it in
cinderella's coach is the cage

her pearl is a beautiful peach colored one
she LOVE LOVE LOVES this present!

She watched the pearl birthing at Typhoon Lagoon about ten times
and really wanted to do it

the kit comes with an oyster in a little sealed container with liquid
a tool to open the oyster
and a little booklet that explains what the colors of the pearl mean

after you polish it up
you put it in the cage and wear the necklace

a very cool thing!

I'm hoping that you will end up with the weather that we're expecting for Saturday. It's supposed to be sunny and beautiful-the nicest day of the weekend. Sunday will be cool and rainy in NY.

Oh, I am crossing my fingers, but the weather channel is saying 50% chance of rain at 8am, 9am, 10am, dropping to 30% at 11, then back to 50% for the rest of the day.

We went to see Jersey Boys on Thursday and it was wonderful! But, it is not a show for anyone under the age of 16!

Mom and I went to the Sabres game last night and I would have to say that it was probably the best hockey game I've ever been to!

Mom, Dad, and I are going to Canada for the day

I sat through DD14's game in the rain, then the sun tried to come out for DD11's, but it was cold.... Both teams lost, oh well...

DD11 watched a dozen people do it, trying to decide if she wanted to spend her own money on it or not....

she can tell you the whole schpiel about oysters, their colors, etc

Dh and I did a little shopping (for him)
he has been doing that P90X workout and has lost some weight
so he needed some pants that fit (and shorts)

he is going to be fit and trim by vacation
he wants a six pack

Dd11 says he has a two pack right now!

and she is already sleeping

this means she will be up at 11
and not able to sleep through the night....

ugh

I saw Jersey Boys on Broadway and thought it was great! The language is terrible, though!

We had a beautiful, slightly cool, Saturday. Sunday was cold and rainy. Same weather for today.
