I booked a trip to Disney World just now...very late or early comme tu prefer...cause United offered me a nonstop to MCO for $210...had to do it!

Problem is I don't even kinow if I'll have anywhere to 'Come Home' too since I am still in ROFR, still unclosed and still can't even TRY to find a ressie.

SO...if you are calling about availability for yourself in the next few days, would you mind checking if there is any availabilty for a studio anywhere?
Hoping my HOMIE Resort will be BWV and hoping to give it a try, but afraid I might not get points until way late. Looking for Sunday-Friday May 9-13 or parts thereof.

IF I get through ROFR, I'm set to close March 30, but since everyone's been talking about delays, even that is just a guess!

Thanks for any help! :goodvibes

Wow - great airfare for a nonstop to Orlando. We usually end up flying Delta and having to stop. I am going to check that out this morning and see when it is good for.

That’s a great airfare out of Colorado - period. We fly out of the Springs, so we always have to connect - and we're happy to pay under $300. I’d make a ‘back-up’ reservation at a WDW resort through CRO, just to make sure you have a room. The cancellation period is well after you should close so you’ll hopefully be able to get a room at BWV (also our home resort) and cancel without a problem with CRO.

Je pense that you should be able to find a Studio somewhere, probably at OKW or - as everyone keeps telling me - SSR. Good luck....

I closed on a resale March 7th. I was told it could take three weeks before my points were "registered" at Disney and then I would be able to book ressies using those points. To receive the actual deed might take longer.
Your dates are after Easter so you might have some luck booking a studio.
Pixie dust coming your way.
BTW I noticed last week that MCO has been replaced with OIA on signs around the airport.

Hi MomS and Mary...hadn't realized you were from Colorado. :sunny:
It is a United fare offered through Orbitz for a 15% discount on qualified fares (over $150) to anywhere from (and I am guessing on this date) April 1 -end of May. So the fare came out as $264 and then with 15% down to $215. and it is nonstop. I had been flying NWQ through Detroit to Tampa to get a real cheap fare all last year (@125RT) but it was a hassle cause NW cancels a lot.
Good luck with your ressies...if you need the email that gives you the 'orange flag' info re discount, IM me and I'll copy it to you.

Thanks for all the good wishes and advice re alternate ressies.

HERE IS THE GOOD NEWS: :flower:
I was WELCOMED HOME (at least as far as passing ROFR) just NOW. I had been on the ROFR thread and a bunch of people heard today. So when my phone rang...I just picked up and said HI JAKI...I KNEW IT!!!!

Can't wait to tell my daughter! And I found her 'missing since Xmas' CD in the ornament box last night (yes, I am just now taking down our Xmas tree.)

Have a wonderful day all!

Thanks for your warm welcomes HOME.
I'm excited.
Another poster has a studio ressie she can't use at BWV, so I am all set.
I'll use her ressie and then transfer my points back to her once I get in the system.
And better yet, it is in BWV, my home resort!!!!!

Then I realized my daughter could fly from LA for less than MY ticket, so I might nvite her to come too!

I need some excitement of the Disney kind in my life right now!

CB - I think you'll be able to get in somewhere...thought it may be OKW or SSR, but not BWV. You can always waitlist at your first preference up to a week before checkin.

GOOD LUCK!

That's so neighborly of someone, Coloradobelle1! I'm glad things are working out, that was gutsy!
