She didn't say that no other countries were democratic/democracies. She said no one else practiced democracy quite like the US. The vast differences in our election campaigns bear that out, if nothing else.

I'm in Canada and we are a democracy but I would agree with your comment. Politics and democracy in the US is unique. Canada like other former British colonies modelled our democratic system after Britain. You guys did your own thing.

Strictly speaking the United States is a republic, not a democracy - very UNlike Britain. It's an interesting thing to study up on.
