In celebration delivery

So I'm thinking about having a care/ celebration package left in my mom's room when she arrives...any reliable companies or anyone know how this would work??? The ones directly from Disney are a little out of my price range.

I've only ever used Disney Floral & Gifts for an in-room celebration so I'm sorry I can't comment on any outside services. One thing I learned when I did ours was that actually arranging something to be done before someone checks-in/enters the room for the first time is nearly impossible. Disney just won't do it, issues with timing, room assignment, etc. It works better when you can arrange it for another day after check in. Maybe others have had different experiences but that was an obstacle I ran into when trying to celebrate DS's birthday last year. Good luck!

I think you can arrange it if you are staying club level.

I was staying club level (Poly) for my above referenced experience. All it does is give you access to more people that will tell you "no."

I was eventually able to work it out so we could check in, get our room, and then book the the Disney Floral & Gift window for that evening while we were at dinner. I can't remember exactly but I think they had a 7-8pm window to setup the room. But even with this, they did NOT want to allow this for the day of check-in AT ALL. Expect resistance at every turn if you do this, it was a small miracle to pull it off. I wouldn't expect the same results.

Interesting, I actually have done it a few times at club level. I had to arrange it with both the club level CMs and Disney Floral. The Club level CMs contacted Disney Floral. When we arrived, the Club Level CMs delayed us a few minutes while things were set up. I could tell by the looks on faces what they were doing. The last time was a couple of years ago so whether they still do that I don't know.

@Polydweller I'm glad you had it work for you! Our experience was summer 2015. I tried coordinating between both and consistently got the "not on your arrival day" answer. There was a loose connection between the two but not water tight like you experienced. I was kind of hoping for something as you describe but just didn't seem to work that way, for us at least.

From your experience sounds like it has changed. As I said, it did work a couple years back, I think 2013 was the last time and wasn't sure it still would. Even then it wasn't easy. Too bad, because club level CMs always were terrific working on it.
