On Oct 8 we are going to MNSSHP and just planning a free day before the party. As of right now, I have a 5:05 ADR at Liberty Tree for dinner (we are on the DDP) but I'm wondering if this is just too big of a meal before a night of candy and rides. I would really like to eat at Kona for breakfast on our trip and was thinking of going in the a.m. on this day.

Would you eat at Kona for breakfast and cancel LTT, or keep the LTT reservation? Or would you pay OOP for Kona and eat at both that day? I just don't want to feel all sluggish by the end of the day from all this eating I keep having to plan!

Unless you want your third meal to be only candy and junk food, I would suggest keeping the dinner reservation. Eat a (relatively) healthy meal, and you won't eat as much candy later.

No advice, but whatever you choose, have a great time - October 8th is my birthday! Say hi to Mickey for me!

Why not sleep in and have a late breakfast as Kona and then your dinner at LTT? Maybe split a hot dog or turkey leg around 9 while watching the first parade.

Were it me, I'd do both. Kona is an excellent breakfast spot, and a 5:05 dinner time at LTT sounds just right

Keep them both. Believe me, you'll walk it off. Enjoy!

I was very unimpressed with Kona Cafe for breakfast. LOVE it for lunch or dinner. Breakfast was rather ordinary fare and what we got wasn't any better than food court stuff. Waitstaff were very uminterested.

I'd do both! Logistically it seems easy enough. Go for it!

I don't get involved in Dining Plan crap, but I see no problem with having a Kona breakfast and a LTT dinner. :)

What are you going to do, starve yourselves all day in anticipation of LTT?

I'd keep the LTT and have a Kona breakfast. :)

We have a day like that as well, going to MNSSHP so before it we are doing lunch at Kona. We didn't make a dinner TS, only because I couldn't get one, but I think we can easily do a CS during the party. :goodvibes

. :)

No, of course not, that would be silly. I'm more concerned that if we've already had a big TS breakfast, should we choose somewhere LIGHTER for dinner like a counter service place. I'm not trying to stretch DDP till it squeaks, either (we'll have Reward $ from the Disney Visa for extras); maybe we'll just keep LTT, too, since DD would enjoy it. We never eat two big meals a day, whether at home or on vacation, so it just seemed like a lot of food.

And to lyzzie'smom, Happy Birthday :bday: on 10/8! DH's bday is on 10/10!
