Just thought I would I would share my little experience today. Went to do my taxes this weekend and noticed on my DVC dues statement only part of my points were listed. We had sold part of them this summer but we DID pay the dues on the points before selling and were NOT reimbursed by the buyer. Therefore those taxes were ours to deduct. So I called DVC accounting this am and spoke to someone who said since we sold those points and were no longer the owner they send the statement to the new owner. Buyers beware, the seller who paid for the dues for 2002 is the one who can legally deduct the taxes no matter who Disney sends the statement to. She could not print me another statement but said I could take her word for the amount. ARGH!!!!
Not venting at anyone here, as I know I sound frustrated, but I wanted to share my story in hopes someone doesn't make a mistake.

We bought with sellers having paid the maintenance fees for the year like you. When we got the statement we called the broker to get the seller's address. Then we sent the seller a copy of the dues statement so they would have what they need for taxes and included a check for the credit we got on this year's dues from the adjustment for the prior year.

Why don't you call the broker you did the deal with and ask them to contact the buyer?
