I have a craving for chicken wings, and I thought I'd go get some for dinner.

There are a couple places in the next town over I know are pretty decent, but they're about a 15 minute drive each way.

There's a "Little Caesars" right up the street that sells them, but I've never bought wings there.

So my question is: has anyone tried the buffalo chicken wings at "Little Caesars" ?

Are they edible? Horrible? Good?

Any feedback would be appreciated. :)

Just a technical point -- there are no unimportant chicken wing questions!

Personally, I'd do the drive for known quality.

We have a small local chain here in Miami called Sports Grill that has the best wings on the planet. They're called "Special Grilled" -- "Dipped in our own buffalo sauce, then charbroiled and lightly washed with Worcestershire..." Absolutely to die for, especially when dipped in their garlic sauce.

My favorite store in that chain didn't go with the rest when they franchised; it's called Hammocks Grill, and their wings are amazing. I have a Sports Grill 5 minutes away, but I drive 3-4 minutes further to Hammocks Grill.

Gotta go...be right back!

Are they those fake wings where they batter and fry them then toss them in the sauce? If so make the drive!

My favorite wings used to be the ones at 'Ohana but last time we had they they were terrible :(

Damn, now I want to jump a plane to Miami! :D

Thanks for the feedback Jim. . . I'll head for Buffalo Wild Wings.

Not the best, but likely better than "Little Caesars" and I can get a beer while I'm waiting for them.

Enjoy your wings! :)

I think you have more important things to do...like breakfast for a certain friend from Down Under..>:(

;)

They are not good.

I would make the drive LOL.

Do you have a Wing Stop? Those are my favorite "fast food" wings.

My husband makes the best IMO.

I'm a wing aficionado, and I think the Little Caesars wings are awful. Best wings in my area are at Buffalo Wild Wings.

Good to read the feedback on Buffalo Wild Wings! We have one near here, haven't tried it yet. I did try the wings at Zaxby's and was underwhelmed--made me nervous that perhaps wings aren't taken as seriously in the south. (Fried chicken and biscuits, OTOH, taken VERRRY seriously!)

I wouldn't eat anything from Little Caeser's, even if it was free and in my backyard.

The only time I eat chicken wings is when my DW makes them. DW has a delightful recipe I could PM you when allowed, it's been handed down from her mother.

I strongly suggest you inform your DW that you have a craving for chicken wings so she pops off to the kitchen to make them for you.

My chef recommends that you make the drive.

Thanks for all the feedback!

Made the drive and am enjoying BWW as we speak.

I know there are better, but I was able to have a Guinness there while I waited for my order. so I'm happy. :D
