Important Chicken Wing question. . .

Willy, your thread inspired me to pour myself a Captain and Coke.

I honestly didn't need a lot of motivation, but figured you were a good one to blame just in case.

Thanks again.

As a former Buffalonian, it hurts my soul to hear BWW praised so highly.

Also, boneless "wings" are not wings. They're nuggets.

So what would you recommend? I guess Anchor Bar and Duff's gets the publicity.

Strangely enough, Wing Stop isn't bad for a chain.

BWW are just eh. I'm in south jersey (5 minutes from Philly) and we have certain places that have awesome wings AND authentic Philly cheesesteaks.

I'm glad you made the drive. Can you say chewy fatty wings -- that's any pizza chains wings. Gross!

I'm not a huge BWW fan, but they'll do in a pinch. If we're talking chain, my favorite will be Buffalo Wings 'n Rings.

But we have a few local joints here that do some good wings.

However, I do miss the good old days when it was .10 cent wing Tuesday's at Long Wong's in Tempe, AZ.

Can you even get a wing under 25 cents now?

Not that I would actually eat! I usually pay +/-$1.00 for great wings...a little less if I get 50.

Lol. I know the local sports bars have wing specials. It's not an everyday cheapo thing.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to get wings just because they're cheap. I want good wings. But dh and I were reminiscing about how they used to have good wing specials at our colleges.

next to a good rib eye, wings are my favorite food, only eat them from one place, Schooner's in central Il, when they opened 35 or so years ago they were the only place within a hundred miles that you could get them, the story is the owner was in Buffalo and learned how to make them from the woman that first came up with them...

The original BWW opened just off the OSU campus and was called Buffalo Wild Wings and Weck. We used to go there all the time. I moved to FL and my house was 10 mins from the original Hooters. Had many a beer there!

Ya, this is 100% useless information! :)

To get back onto topic, I'd rather try and lick the bottom of my foot than eat LC wings!
