I saw a pair at Wal-mart for $7.98 or something like that. Are these just as good or the same as Crocs ? They looked the same but I've never tried either on before so I wouldn't know. I find they're ugly and would never wear these out in public but maybe around the pool

The ones at Walmart and Target are as hard as rocks. If you don't want to spend the money on real Crocs, which are wonderful, try the fake ones at Payless (airwalks) they are OK.

Don't even bother. Waste of money. Get the real deal - your feet will thank you later.

Something I noticed, maybe it was just me. I had a walmart pair of mock crocs and they seemed to literally suck the moisture right out of my feet. I loved wearing them because they were more comfortable than my other pair of shoes, but I had to throw them away because my feet were so rough, no matter how much moisturizer I used on them. I threw them out a few months ago and my feet are much better now. Never had that problem before I purchased them.

NO! Fake crocs are not any good.

Real crocs are super duper wonderfully comfie! :)

ITA w/the PP who said Airwalks if you must go for a "mock croc." I love my Airwalks (and threw out my Walmart mock crocks. LOL!).

Some "mock Crocs" that are similar to the real thing are:
Airwalks at Payless
RICS (Ranger's Incredibly Comfortable Shoes) A local store here had them but dropped them when they switched to Crocs. I thought these were more comfy than the actual crocs!
PUR Sponge Clogs at Summerfootwear.com-Free shipping both ways!
Coastal Clogs at LL Bean

I can't bear to spend $25-30 on ugly shoes, but will consider cheaper options if they're comfy. :) Hope this helps!

I love my Airwalks from Payless and so does my DD10. Her feet are growing so fast that we need the cheapos!

As others have said, dont waste your money. Buy the real deal or try Airwalks from Payless. They arent as good, but not too bad either.

Very interesting that some people actualy like the Airwalks from Payless. I tried on a pair at Payless and my feet literally screamed, "NO! TAKE THESE THINGS OFF!"

I think they are spoiled by the real deal.

I have flea market croc that is cushie soft that i paid 8 bucks for. The Wal-Mart ones is hard as rock. I use them when I go to the pool. If some steals them they won't get getting my good crocs.:lmao:

DEFINITELY the real thing. There's no comparison.

Someone mentioned dry feet. My feet get dried and cracked in the wintertime, and the Crocs don't always help. I have found something that really helps a bunch.....Aquaphor! It works wonders for diaper rash and chapped skin/lips and WOW it has done wonders for my cracked feet. If I put it on in the morning (just the heel area) and wear socks by the next morning there is a very, very noticeable difference. You don't need to buy special foot creams, just buy some Aquaphor!
