...well that's the thing...I'm actually NOT recovered....I'm still going for weekly blood tests. My Platelet count went down from 60,000 to 47,000 but it was less drastic drop for the last two weeks so I am still holding off on the new meds [Promacta]....

Just relaxing after the rain yesterday and last night. Chilly here in Orlando and is supposed to be colder tonight.

We are arriving on Thursday and I’m bummed about the weather.
Its going be chilly and somewhat rainy - not the best. I was really not wanting to bring a coat and gloves, but it is what it is. We’ll make the best of it.

I’m happy about the beautiful autumn weather we are having here this weekend. It’s beautiful out and the trees are picture perfect - I love taking a drive on a day like today. But, no drive today. I’m going to go to church and then lay everything out for vacation since we leave on Thursday. We are so excited! This is going to be so much fun with an adult child - totally different experience - I can hardly wait!!

We put my amaryllis to rest in the attic today. Will take them out in January and hopefully will get some beautiful blooms from them next year!

Back from the zoo.....so much fun. DGS's first time without the wagon (we will go back to it.....we like storing all our things in it, besides him). This was a practice to see how he does walking.....getting ready for Disneyland!!

Wednesday night Katie signs her letter of intent to play softball in college at the HS - it’s a big deal and the school does a great job making the night special for these kids.
Thursday we leave for WDW.
Such a great week!

I’m reading.
Tom is improving, but not at the rate he would like. Tomorrow he will see a nurse and physical therapist. Three weeks from today was his operation. It’s wonderful to see how far he has come. No excess fluid retention. He walks a bit outside, goes upstairs a few times a day and continues breath into the little device! It’s going higher.
