I just give all the goodies away.
My birthday is the 18th of Jan.........and I know Bobbi's is the 3rd, so more goodies.
I am good about managing my intake. I have to be.

...MY DH's is the 8th......he calls it Three Kings Day....the birthday of Elvis Presley, David Bowie....and HIM!

My friend's is in the 12th. We usually go on a birthday trip......but not this January

My cousin's is on Christmas day. Hard when she was young, she's okay with it now.

DH and I still seem to have more than half of the puzzle to go. I am hoping we will finish on New Years Day. It’s not like we have any place to go.

No home school this week, but the kids are coming for baking (DGS is already here. He spent the night) and wood working.

I’m.....leaving for work soon for the last time in 2020.
As I reflect on 2020 for our family I can honestly say it was not a bad year (I can’t include COVID because that stinks for everyone). We‘ve had years far worse than 2020. We’ve been blessed this year in many ways, and when it comes to COVID, we are grateful that this virus didn’t take away any of our family members. I try to find the good in things instead of reflecting on the bad - sometimes that’s challenging, but I still try and do it.

I’m.....about ready to go brave the Verizon store this morning - one of my least favorite things to do . My DH says they are offering a significant discount on a new phone when you trade in an old phone, but the offer ends today, so we have to go. I’m really hoping this visit can be a quick in and out .
Then my DD(17) and I have to go to the place she trains at so I can throw balls to her for her to practice her hitting - this is always a lot of fun - something I will miss when she’s done playing someday (hopefully in 5 years).
Then my other DD and her DH will come tonight and we’ll play games - it’s gonna be a fun night

DGD spent the night. She'll be leaving around 11:30 to go get her allergy shot.
We aren't doing anything tonight. I do need to make a dessert for DD for tomorrow. She chose a layer mousse out of a Disney cookbook.
Going to be early. I have gotten up at 4:30 the last 2 mornings.
Family is coming for dinner tomorrow.
DGD baked the cake and made the frosting.

on school break now... Had a mini class for two weeks after the semester ended.
But I have a break until the 17th of January.

How is PT going?

Decided I didn’t want to do it in this environment. However, I do make it a point to walk around the block except in very bad weather. I actually am much better with my balance than in the summer.

In the end we cancelled all trips in November and December, but hope to go to Vero Beach and Hilton Head using DVC points we otherwise will lose.

It is good to be back even if I know I will have to do of when it starts back. Glad the balance is better.

We to canceled 3 vacations. I have points that I banked that I have to use. Not sure what we are going to do.

We just had rib roast. DSis and her honey in their place, we in ours, and a DCuz came over for her share to have at her home. We are “together“ and celebrating at a distance!

Regarding the Coast Guard recruits this Christmas. The training center here has stopped all training, and no new recruits have come for at least two week. All Covid 19 cases on base are mild or asymptotic, but every company is involved.
