I'm just back from Walmart......got a few little things for the grand kids Easter baskets

I always got an early start with my Easter baskets too. I don’t make them for my kids anymore, but I will for my grandkids - I’m looking forward to it

I’m......going to start my new Diamond Dotz today - it’s a Christmas tree. The one I just finished last night took me well over 24 hours to complete. Luckily I can just keep it out on the dining room table and can work on it a little bit at a time. Also, DD(22) will bring hers over on evenings her DH works nights and we work on them together. I want to get this new one done before the grand baby comes and before HS softball season begins (both will happen at the exact same time)

^ Enjoy your new project. DH and I work on a Christmas themed puzzle, a chapel in mountains, covered in snow and garland. It was a gift, and I hope we can finish by New Years Day. I will work on it more than he, but it’s nice to take time and do it together for bits of time as well.

.....we are working on our solar yard light puzzle...14 of them to install about the paths and plants....shade, color hilights, edges and curves,. I have to pound steel rods into the lose sand ffor the lights to hold up and not fall over...not following the manufactur provided plastic poles or suggestions. wife got a notice on her phone that someone wanted to buy the plle of picket fences on craigslist that we wold weeks ago at garage sale...she could not figure out the puzzle on craiglst to respond on her phone...she got locked out, so I had to come intot he computyer room and search and problem solve....so stop in and say hi then back out to the 80 degree weather.

yes....but you know how it is with folks who do puzzles ( wife favorite spring activity outside) she sometimes takes a hammer to the pice that does not fit...so problem solved by the time she picked up the hammer I was using to intall the steel rods for the lights

I love working on puzzles and my DH will work on it with me too - I enjoy this time we share. He gave me a new Harry Potter puzzle for Christmas that I will start after my Diamond Dotz is complete. The puzzle Is Hogwarts Castle on black because the castle glows it the dark. This puzzle will not be easy, but that’s ok, I like challenging puzzles

Wow, I hope you are not too surprised!

We were very surprised - they blew up hundreds of balloons and put them in his truck (filled it tight) and then wrapped the truck with wrapping paper. They filled my family room with hundreds of balloons - the dog was so confused because she couldn’t get to her bed - LOL!
Then streamers and decorations and then the funniest is the hundreds of forks stuck in the front lawn and then a sign saying - We hope you have a forkin fantastic 50th birthday. They did a great job!

With DHs bday on the 28th we always have another big meal on his bday and now we have leftover bday cake.
I’m.....looking forward to January 2nd when it all goes in the garbage (I do this every year). Total holiday season food detox. As much as I enjoy the treats, I also enjoy seeing them go - LOL!
