I have a new app on my phone that has me do some deep breaths and relaxing techniques, honestly it does not help.

I am chilling out in front of the wall unit AC,,,in 20 mins I have to change the themrostat to warmer and then at 8 , cool back down... of course by then i will be cleaning the scum from the bottom of our storm devasted above ground pool.

well...it got worse....the pump could no longer function in the level of water....so had to pull the pump....well our pool is not level...some spots were above water....and now the alage has turned hard into reptile skin because of the heat....so hopefully it melts.

okay research says.....what flavor are you cooking...ihave a half dozen or so photos and recipes and none of them look the same.

speaking of fun coming up.....wather man just told us...108 degrees...not a cloud in the sky....that are upholstered furniture that we moved out of storage because the help I hred to help clean the pool could help move the bulky winter furniture.will be under water when we wake up!!!!!....the only plus is the pool water removed has made the ground more like a conduit for water instead of dry sand not soaking up the water.

Our pierogies were sauerkraut and mushrooms.

I’m getting ready to go to the pool ( we belong to a small swim club). DH had a nuclear stress test today, he’ll come with me. We hope to get in before the rains come!

water gone...hired help will scrub the bottom , very easy...been reconnecting our garden back up with hoses that were used to drain the pool, good cloud cover, good breeze....but am only good for about 3 hours and tomorrow morning my last good 3 hours, will re-insulate the hoses....still have two months of 100 degree hose destroying heat.

I’m about ready to get ready for work, but before I wanted to pick a couple dead flowers off my hanging basket and this is what I found….



This guy is so cool looking. He did startle me though - I was expecting him at the same level as my face. He looked content, so I let him be. I’ll dead head my flowers after work

Baking day. DH has a doctor appointment, so no class from him today.
Thunderstorms expected today. We should be about at the end of them. Flash flood watch in effect today through tomorrow night

Got the Apple SE phone today. DCL app wouldn’t download on my old phone, so I had to upgrade. It was an easy switch, and immediately, I got the note to download the app, so I am set for our cruise on Monday.

...folks to the east ....got more than their fair share
only take away....still the sunniest place on earth.

pool is now being filled with water..when it gets to my knees...have to vacuum....our dollar store vacuum only works when net is floating full strength in water.

It’s a beautiful day, and I noticed this bug on my Milkweed.


Turns out it’s a Milkweed Beetle another species who use the plant. I grow milkweed largely for the Monarch butterflies who migrate through Cape May NJ.
