....EVERYONE I know [teachers or parents with school-aged children] is getting out within the next week or so....WE HAVE TO WORK RIGHT TILL THE 23RD AND OUR LESSON PLANS must be till the 23rd! Ridiculous.....

We had 4 snow days that we didn't use. You'd think they would take them off at the end....but NOOOOOOO, they gave us a 6-day mini-vacay for Memorial Weekend. Got the students out of sync and now we can't get them back. It's like their brains went on permanent vacation.

...they were all gung ho on having a graduation....the 8th graders are picking up their graduation gowns tomorrow (social distancing, of course) and the stuff that has been left in their lockers. They were instructed to keep the gowns in a safe place and they are now going to try to have a graduation in JULY. Honestly, you can't make this stuff up!

I’m on the way home, and nice get together with friends to celebrate our meeting! Total of 5 people at outside table. It was our largest assembly since March!

....my DH goes there every other week...he comes home cursing because he only goes for a couple of things, but cannot get out of there spending less than $100...

$350 today......but got a lot of lunch meat (Saturday pool day is sandwich day for the family), a huge pork butt for DH to smoke, huge pack of ground beef, Lysol spray!! , alcohol prep pads, TP, PT, lager for DH.
No limits on anything I looked at anymore, including TP and PT.
Low crowds and no wait in line. It was a good trip!!

....AWESOME. At the beginning of this Covid crisis my DH was able to purchase plenty of TP, PT, Lysol spray, and wipes, so we're still good. We spend a lot on cases of Poland Spring water, iced tea, and Diet Coke, not to mention the GF Sabatasso's pizza that he gets.

....They have one that's GF with a cauliflower crust but it's not that great....the Sabatasso's one doesn't really taste like GF.
