I'm planning to enjoy my last day home alone.....well until 5 when the family dinner starts.
Then an airport run to bring DH home

I'm relaxing between my morning walk and continuing work on putting those 1400 pictures back in their albums after they were scanned.

Then I have to caption each photo on SmugMug before sorting online to prepare downloads on cds for Christmas presents for each family involved. The pictures go back 30+ years.

I'm looking at a flooded backyard......another monsoon storm hit last night and this morning.
Love the rain, but hate the flooding it causes here

Oh Nancy, flooding is no fun. Do you have some decent drainage?

yes.....they make them do good drainage when they build the houses here because of the monsoons.

Yes, we do.....July and August. Lots of flooding in yards. DS's neighborhood park has some real problems now.

We are going back in December for a week but I may use some reward miles and go back in the fall to see my Mom.

Actually I'd much rather fly to WDW but the tickets and hotel would cost so much and the crowds would be horrible.

We go in Nov and Jan. Can't wait. Haven't been since Mar.

I was just thinking about going alone sometime in the next 12 months...since I'm sure DH wouldn't want to go again for a very long time, if ever. He's had enough of WDW.

And I have to decide if I want to go to Alaska more than Disney....I think Alaska would win that contest, especially while DH can still travel some.
