"I'M STUCK IN DISNEY!!!!!!!!" A Delightfully Unliveable TR ~ NEW TR 9/27!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my, both costumes are amazing. I just can't even tell you how cool it is that you went as Mickey! :cool1:
What great eyelashes you have Mickey! ;)
And Lee-Anne makes a beautiful Cleopatra.

That may have been the best M&G story I've ever read. At the very least it would be nominated.
You're totally like me, that IS Mickey Mouse, not a costume.

As an older than you adult, I can assure you that will not change. It certainly hasn't for me.
Why else would I book a last minute trip in just under 2 weeks to go by myself? ::MickeyMo

LOVE your costume, and oh my goodness, that meet with Minnie & Mickey!!!!!!:love::love: I really cannot WAIT for our first Halloween party this year!

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!!!!

OMG #BirthdayFestivus13 IS SO CLOSE. I feel like you just announced this amazing trip and that was like 2-3 MONTHS ago and now we are into weeks. GAHH CAN’T WAIT FOR THIS TR!

Your costume is just AWESOME. Like, OMG. And Lee-Anne looks beautiful too!

I went to MVMCP in November and it was amazing, but I WANT TO DO MNSSHP SO CRAPPIN BAD. And plus I never got to meet Mickey or Minnie or the princesses and the princes that night. I WAS BASICALLY CRYING. STILL AM. The line was SO long and I was so tired and it never worked out. UGH. This is why I need to go to MNSSHP or SOMETHING.

EEEE FRANKENWEENIE! That movie was spectacular.

I just died reading about you meeting Mickey and Minnie. OhmyGOD.

Omg, that was just the most amazing, adorable moment EVER! Your costume is amazing and the mice's reaction was just perfect. Can't wait to hear more about your night! :goodvibes

I get the over obsessive MNSSHP planning, I usually am pretty slack when it comes to a disney trip, but those parties, they’re important!!

Awesome costume! I have had SUCH a hassle choosing costumes for the coming year, I REALLY wanted to be Lottie, but that huge ballgown would just not be fun in the parks, so I eventually decided on Rapunzel, with extensions, and Tink! And of course the costumes are hand made, bahah, I will never buy a costume store costume again, I mean, I worked at a dinner theater for five years, I can put stuff together well enough ahha.

Yay for everyone liking the costumes, man I just cannot wait for MNSSHP this year! I love how MK is all set up for Halloween, I usually get there between five and six, but it looks awesome (kinda] to be arriving at the peak of everything!

Oh my gosh Mickey and Minnie are adorable!! Love that they were so happy to see you dressed up!

It was EVERYTHING I wanted out of that M&G and more. It's good to know that no matter how old I get or what I go through in life, Mickey and Minnie will always be at the Magic Kingdom waiting to give me hugs. Kinda means a lot to this girl right here.

This...what you said...i get it....me too.....:flower3:

OMG I LOVED THIS UPDATE! Seriously. Your costume was ADORABLE. So awesome, and I loved that you went with Mickey! Also, this made me super SUPER excited about going to MNSSHP in September. Like, I can't even describe how excited I am and your update you've only just arrived. BAAAHHH.

Your whole exchange with Mickey and Minnie made me tear up because it reminds me of my favorite moments with Mickey... as a 6 year old and later as a 27 year old. I JUST GET IT. I get what you mean, and I love how you can see your happiness in those photos! I just love it. I'm so glad you guys got it on camera, too.

Great updates! Your Mickey costume was perfect, loved it! :lovestruc Lee-Anne looked amazing too! I wish I dressed up when I went to MNSSHP but I couldn't think of anything! I'm kind of the same way you are, I don't want a store bought costume, but I don't want something crappily thrown together either! :rotfl2:

OMG your meet and greet with Mickey and Minnie was so adorable! I LOVE when the characters are just extra amazing! I don't know how you weren't in tears the whole time! Ugh I miss Disney World and the Halloween Party. I need to get back there during that time!

Awww! Yay for amazing meet n greets!!! :goodvibes

I LOVE YOUR COSTUME!!! So cute & it turned out great--you really did look like a jazzed up Mr. Mouse!!

I will be one of the 3093403940394 girls dressed as Minnie this year, but I found the cutest red and white polka dotted dress, that I just can't not be Minnie, ya know? Still searching for some cute yellow shoes.

Question: Can you meet Halloween Mickey & Minnie before the party begins? We are planning on arriving around 4:00 and eating dinner at the MK before the party--will we be able to get pictures with them before the party begins? This is my first MNSSHP, so I am feverishly gathering all the info I can muster (and yes, I know it is still 6 months away! :rotfl2: )

Cant wait for more updates...even though it looks as though it is going to be sad. :(

Thank you!!!!

I'm pretty sure Mickey & Minnie have those costumes on starting around 6 but I am really not sure. If I were you I would ask on the Theme Parks board. For your shoes, just make sure they are comfortable! Walk in them before you get there just to be extra sure!

It is sad... but just Disney sad, not real life sad. haha

Your costume was Amazing!

And uh oh- not looking forward to the low :(

Thanks so much!!

Yeah, it was not a good moment that's for sure!

AHHHHHHH! I LOVE these updates:yay: Your costumes is amazing! And I just love MNSSHP. Seriously my favorite time of year to go (not that there's really a bad time to go, I mean hello, it's Disney!). I've done MVMCP before and that was absolutely magical, but there's just something about the Halloween Party. All the rare characters (I too am in love with Eugene :lovestruc) the parade, the Headless Horseman, the fireworks, plus I can dress up :cool1: I seriously can't wait to go again this year

Thanks so much!! I agree it's the best time to go. Disney will never be the same for me without it now, seriously. I hope I can go this year!! Probably not but we'll see!

I love how much you love MNSSHP. It cracks me up. I've never been a huge Halloween fan (some years I get more into it than others), but you make a good ambassador for the holiday. You're basically the Stacey of Halloween.

Anyway, your costume is great and I can't wait to hear about the rest of the night! I feel like the Boo To You update's just gonna be one giant keyboard smash with some pictures. :rotfl:

HAHA I'm glad you understand my intense love for this. I am HONORED that you consider me the Stacey of Halloween. What a flawless title.

Thank you! THAT IS VERY ACCURATE. I don't even know what to say about it except to be like BOOK YOUR TRIPS NOW, NERDS.

I have a Niece that would Love to have a Cake like that!!

May the Magic continue for you. pixiedust:

Maybe if you show a local bakery the picture, they can make it for you!

Thank you!!!

I loved your Mickey/Minnie M&G description... almost made me cry!

I never even really understood the whole M&G until this last trip with our DS and really didn't understand that it can be just as much for adults as it is for kids. I totally got teary eyed when I met Mickey and also Goofy. Pooh really did me in though, it was awesome!

I've got nearly 20 years on you though, and I can assure you that the wonderful feeling you get as a 20something meeting characters you love, isn't going to go away. I'm pretty sure I'll be there when I'm 80 still feeling like a 5 year old!

Aww!

It really is magical. I don't even know how to describe why it is so magical. I mean, I know as an adult the reality of the situation but in that moment it just doesn't register. The Disney magic just takes over!

Glad to hear that feeling isn't going away anytime soon!

Oh my gosh, Disney & Hanson?! I love this!!! Can't wait to hear more about your fun adventures!!!:earsboy:

Isn't that the perfect combination? haha. Thank you!!

Enjoying your TR.
Great costume. You did a good job of being a little sexy without being slu*tty. :thumbsup2
I see a lot of people at the party who can't do that!:confused3

Thank you! That's not exactly what I was going for but I'll take it!

Oh my, both costumes are amazing. I just can't even tell you how cool it is that you went as Mickey! :cool1:
What great eyelashes you have Mickey! ;)

LOVE your costume, and oh my goodness, that meet with Minnie & Mickey!!!!!!:love::love: I really cannot WAIT for our first Halloween party this year!

Thank you!!! YOU'RE SO LUCKY YOU ARE GOING THIS YEAR! I want to go again so bad.

I love, love, love your costume.

I got that same cake for my birthday one year!!!!

Awesome!!!

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!!!!

I know, I can't believe how close it is. I completely am not even in the mindset that it's happening!

Thanks so much!

I really want to do MVMCP, but I don't know how it's possibly going to top MNSSHP!! You really HAVE to go. It's a must for any fan of WDW. I want to go every single year for the rest of my life. seriously.

Omg, that was just the most amazing, adorable moment EVER! Your costume is amazing and the mice's reaction was just perfect. Can't wait to hear more about your night! :goodvibes

Thanks!! I can't wait to see how your costumes turn out!

AHH I know. I love the decorations so much. I really hope I get to go again this year!

Awww. I'm glad you understand!!

Thanks so much! You should plan your costume in advance next time because it really is just so much fun! Then again I just love dressing up in general, so it's probably more fun for me than your average person.

YES YOU DO. And so do I!!

I love your costumes!! When I first saw yours, I was like, "Waaaaaaait a second! I've seen that before!" And then I realized: Twitter. ::yes::

Seriously though, the amount of work that you put into your costume? I'm super impressed! I have the same thought on those pre-made costumes, but I never manage to put all of that effort into my Halloween costumes! Lee-Anne's Cleopatra costume is so gorgeous too!

Aww, the picture of you and Lee-Anne waiting to meet Mickey and Minnie is so adorable! You look so genuinely excited! :hyper: And the story of meeting them is so amazing!

Uh oh... I'm nervous for the next update!

Oooooo I wound have been so ticked off at that cast member trying to argue with you. It doesn't matter if she's stressed, had a bad day or what, as a CM her first reaction shouldn't be to brush it off, but to see what she could do to try and resolve it. Glad the manager stepped in to help you!

I am officially going to be on a mission to find this tuxedo wearing frog the next time I am at the Italy pavillion.

Your birthday cake is AWESOME! I'm glad the stars aligned, the universe cooperated and you were able to celebrate with Hanson! WOOO!

Reading the MNSSHP part of the trip report is cracking me up, because I distinctly remember following along with you on Twitter that night hoping the weather would CALM ITSELF DOWN and not interfere with your partying! I'm pretty sure I told you then that I love your costume, but in case I didn't, I LOVE YOUR COSTUME!!!!

I'm glad you had such a great time at Hanson!!!! :goodvibes

Ahhhhh your costume is amazing!!! Great job!!! :thumbsup2 Mickey and Minnie's reaction sounds perfect!!!

Asdafdhgd!!!
I definitely just checked the dates of your birthday trip, and I will miss you guys by TWO DAAAAYYYSS!!! If I had the money to just stay for the rest of my days off I'd totally be there til the 14, but I'll be leaving by noon on the 11! SO CLOSE!
Next time I guess!

haha Thank you!!

I can procrastinate like no other but when it has to do with Disney, I get stuff done! haha. I am quite impressed at the hours I spent sewing as well. It was NOT easy, but it was worth it!

AHH I know, I really was so ridiculously excited and happy. It was glorious!

I understand if people are having a bad day, but like, still do your job. I understand that not everyone can operate at 100% at work every time, but at least do *something*. I mean, it was just absurd.

I swear, that frog is there. I plan to take many photos with it next time!!

I know... I seriously can't believe that happened. It was so nice of them to schedule their iHeartRadio show around my birthday. Oh how I love those boys.

LOL I love you and all my twitter followers! It's seriously so fun adding that element onto the trip of having people actually following along and like, rooting for you for everything to go well. And THANK YOU!!! :D

I'm glad you had such a great time at Hanson!!!! :goodvibes

OCTOBER 25, 2012
Day 5, Part 6 In Which My Prince Never Comes

After that AMAZING meet and greet with the King and Queen, Mr. Mickey Mouse and his lovely Minnie, I was on an EVEN BIGGER high than before. And now, it was finally time.

TIME TO MEET EUGENE FITZHERBERT!!!

You probably can not even imagine what a big deal this was to me because you probably are sane.

I am not. I don't care that I am 23. I don't care that he is a fictional character.

I LOVE EUGENE.

He may as well be real. I mean, whatever. Who knows what's real and what isn't, anyway?! We could all be living inside some virtual reality game. You don't know.

See? I'm not sane. But it's fine. No one is mad.

What I'm saying is this: my body may be 23 years old (22 at the time of the party) but I am still the little kid who first came to Disney for her 5th birthday. I distinctly remember wearing my Mickey Mouse overalls and matching bucket hat, going on my first ever rollercoaster (Big Thunder), having breakfast at Crystal Palace, meeting Mickey in his dressing room, and being completely enamored by it all. It may as well have been yesterday.

I consider myself very lucky that these feelings and this spirit is still fresh in my mind. My imagination still constantly runs wild. So when I see a character I love, it's real. The world in their movie is real. I am talking to Ariel or Aladdin or Winnie the Pooh. It's REAL.

One of my favorite quotes in Harry Potter is when Snape and Lily are talking about Hogwarts. Lily's sister isn't magical and doesn't believe that Hogwarts is real. "It is real, isn't it?" Lily asks Snape. "It's real for us," he replies. It's the same with us Disney fans. Other people may think it's crazy to be this invested in a story or a character or a theme park as an adult. It's not real for them, and that's fine. It's real for us.

I have probably explained my love for Tangled before, but here I go again anyway.

Disney movies obviously were a gigantic part of my childhood. In general, movies just mean a lot to me. When I think back on my favorite movies, most of them represent a part of my life or personality in a way. A favorite film becomes something bigger than a movie that entertained me for a few hours. That started with the Disney classics of my childhood that captured my imagination and stole my heart.

As an adult, when new Disney movies came out, I loved them. However, none of them compared to the classics that I grew up with such as The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, The Lion King, Beauty & the Beast, Toy Story, etc etc. I mean, did I love things like The Princess & the Frog and Up? OF COURSE. But were they on the same level as the classics? No. Not to me.

When Tangled was being advertised, my main thoughts were "looks beautiful" and "funny." I thought it looked good, but I wasn't in any huge hurry to see it. I completely underestimated what this movie ended up being. I knew I'd enjoy it, never did I think it was going to make the impact on me that it did.

Once I actually watched it... FORGET IT. I was so overcome with love for this movie that I actually stopped to think in the middle of it, "I never want this to end. This is so good. I LOVE THIS MOVIE SO MUCH."

I never thought a new Disney movie would mean just as much to me as the classics of my childhood, but Tangled does. It's everything from the stunning animation, to the music, what Disney did with the classic Rapunzel fairytale, all the perfect details in the character's personalities that help them seem real and current... I could go on and on about basically every element of this film. I think it is an especially remarkable accomplishment for a studio that consistently does remarkable work. There are just so many things about Tangled that set it apart from every other movie of its kind. For example, the way they handled the animation of Rapunzel's parents. When else in a kid's movie do you see characters that do not speak once in the entire movie? Disney didn't dumb down these characters for children. You don't hear Rapunzel's father talking about how much he misses her, and how much he wishes they could find her. The devastation in his face is clear enough. That's just one example of how this film has elevated the genre. Like I said, I could go on and on. I JUST LOVE THIS MOVIE.

I also have to say, they somehow managed to create a prince that I would crush harder on than Aladdin, which is really something because I used to kiss my Aladdin doll a TON. Prince Eric was always a very close second, but I loved Aladdin's personality so much more. However, Eugene Fitzherbert is on another level.

Eugene is just the perfect man. I really can't even explain it but I love him and I don't know why I'm expected to date these normal non-Eugenes in life because they just do not compare.

SO yeah, I'm totally crazy. Again, it's fine. I'm perfectly used to having absurd crushes so having one on someone who exists only because of animators and a lovely vocal performance by Zachary Levi is really not a problem to me.

Besides just going to MNSSHP in general and eating at the Food & Wine Festival, meeting Eugene my #1 most anticipated thing that I wanted to do on this trip.

You can ONLY meet him during the parties and so I figured this would be my only chance. Who knew when I'd be back during a party again?! At the time I thought it could be years. I had no idea.

So everything that had happened built up to me being off my hinges excited to FINALLY MEET EUGENE. And Rapunzel, of course. Rapunzel's my idol. I relate to her story in many ways, and also we look alike. She's my soul sister, okay? So yes, for the 85th time, this whole thing was a really big deal to me.

So, we exit out of the Mickey & Minnie meet and greet, and as soon as we emerge a CM says "WOW!" referring to my costume. Like, not even "Hi, I love your costume!" just "WOW."

I felt very special. The response I was getting from people made me EVEN more happy and excited!

I hoped Eugene would enjoy it too, and if he wanted to ditch Rapunzel in favor of partying around the Kingdom with me, that would be fine. JUST KIDDING, Eugene and Rapunzel are like one of my all time favorite love stories and I want them to last 5ever, but DAMN DO I LOVE EUGENE. Maybe he has a long lost brother? Call me!

So, off we skipped into the Princess line.

@babybritney: JUSTR MET MICKEY AND MINNIE I AM NOT ALIVE THEY GOT SO EXCITED AND KISSED I REALLY CAN'T AND WE'RE IN LINE TO MEET EUGENE OH MUYGGOOOD

The line was a little bit longer now, but not by much. It was moving, albeit slowly. Then we got into The Plain Blue Room, aka the room you wait in before they let you into the room where the Princesses are.

This room is weird to me because I think it's the only room in all of Disney that is not themed. It's just a room. There's literally nothing on the walls, it's just painted light blue. SO out of character for Disney to leave something un-themed.

I pondered what could be done with this room for a VERY VERY LONG TIME while we waited in a line that had come to a DEAD STOP. There was one group in front of us and we were all just standing there stagnant forever. I was a little annoyed by it, but honestly I just figured that either the characters were taking a break, or they had like a special VIP guest, or maybe a special needs guest in there. So I figured I just needed to be patient and maybe it would be like 15 minutes or so and then they'd let the people in front of us go, and then us.

15 minutes came and went, and still nothing. At this point, the CM standing at the door started apologizing. We all said it was fine. As long as I got to meet Eugene and Rapunzel eventually, it was all good for me. I mean, I wished it would go faster so we could enjoy more of the party, but nothing was gonna crush my Eugene high!!!

I could tell Lee-Anne was getting super annoyed, and I kinda felt bad b/c I knew she was no where near as excited about this as I was (no one in the world possibly could be), but this was like the one thing this whole trip I absolutely HAD to do, so I hoped she understood that.

At some point, an invisible phone rang. I yelled "PRINCESS EMERGENCY!" and luckily everyone laughed. The CM at the door opened a door in the wall to pick this mysterious phone up. LOL, that's Disney for ya. Magic phones popping out of nowhere.

This was a tense phone call. It was like the President was on the line or something. The CM did not seem happy. She then told us it should be "Just about another 2 minutes."

It was not another 2 minutes by any stretch of the imagination. I want to say it was at least 15 more, and then the family in front of us got to go in. And then there was another HUGE wait.

Now, I was upset. I mean, if it had been any other day at the Kingdom, fine. But we were wasting precious Halloween party time here. It was really anti-climatic to get to the party I've been waiting on for years and have the best M&G ever and then just stand still in The Plain Blue Room. I thought this would be my only MNSSHP, and I hated that we were inside missing most of the fun standing in a dead stop line.

It would have been okay if the line was moving and long, but just standing there with no explanation of what was going on irked me. I mean, they could have at least used one of their "Cinderella had to go put the mice to bed, but she'll be right back" lines at least just to tell us SOMETHING.

At one point, the CM at the door kind of threw her hands up in the air, exasperated. She said "I have NO IDEA what they're doing!" in a very frustrated tone. So... that wasn't good.

Finally, she said that it would really just be a few more minutes. I didn't quite believe her, but she was actually right this time! YES!!!

I'm running out of ways to describe my excitement, but let me just say that all the waiting had only amped me up even more. It would deflate some people, but not I.

AT LONG LAST, the CM let us into the Princess room, apologizing as she gestured us over. It was fine, I WAS ABOUT TO BE IN THE ARMS OF EUGENE! So I didn't mind the wait.

If you've never been in here, let me describe it. There is one big wall painted to look fairytale like, separated into three sections by regal blue curtains. There is one Princess in each section, and on Halloween and Christmas party nights ONLY, they are accompanied by their Princes.

So we bounce into the room all excited, and then I got a nasty surprise.

There Cinderella was with her Prince in the first section. In the second section, I saw Snow White with Prince Charming. In the third section, I saw nothing.

No Rapunzel.

NO EUGENE!!!

No... anyone! Empty! Nothing there! Nothing.

However, there was a third PhotoPass photographer just standing there with nothing to photograph. So even though I bellowed "WHERE'S EUGENE!?!?!?" when I walked into the room, I figured he and Rapunzel were just late because Pascal had spilled some of Rapunzel's paint all over the place and that they'd be walking in while we were meeting with the other royalty. I mean, why else would a PhotoPass photographer be there if they were never going to fill that space? So I had some hope at least.

I was so worried, though, that I couldn't even enjoy the other meet & greets. In my head I was just like, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can Eugene get here. I was so upset and confused. They should have at least said like, "Only two of the Princesses are here right now," or just something, ANYTHING to let me know what on earth was going on!

We went up to meet Cinderella, and all I remember was her saying something to me about being super sparkly. Guys, Disney Princesses LOVE glitter. Almost every single one I met during all 3 parties mentioned how sparkly I was and how much they loved it. I think Lee-Anne mainly talked to Cinderella, though, and the Prince mainly talked to me which I did not mind at ALL. I mean, he was no Eugene, but no one is. He was still looking GOOD though.

He addressed me as Mickey, which again, I LOVED.

I remember him being like "Where's Minnie?" And in my head I was like, "WHERE'S EUGENE?!?!!?" but I didn't want to be rude. I didn't really know what to say.

As a student of improv, I'm ashamed to say I just totally lost my brain. I was so upset about Rapunzel & Eugene not being there that I wasn't in the moment and totally became tongue tied while talking to Cinderella, Snow, and the Princes.

Cinderella's Prince and I then had a really odd conversation about cheesecake. It went a little something like this:

Prince: Hello Mickey! Is Minnie with you tonight?
Me: Hi... oh, uh... no, not tonight.
Prince: Where is she?
Me: Oh.. she's at home tonight..
Prince: Minnie's home making cheesecakes, right?
Me: What?
Prince: Cheesecakes!
Me: Um.... sure. Yeah. Yes she is.
Prince: Oh good. I love Minnie's cheesecakes. She makes the best cheesecakes.
Me: ....?!?!?! Yes. I do believe she does!

I just thought that was hilariously specific. Is there some short I never saw where Minnie is an expert cheesecake baker or something? Like, I really don't get where he came up with that. Whatever, Princey.

I love this picture because he is like "cheesecakes cheesecakes" and I'm just like "what"

Sorry Cinderella, but you need to fix your hair. Honestly, this whole princess redesign has just made me furious, mostly because of the travesty that is the new Belle look, which I already discussed. Cinderella still looks like herself at least, her hair is just a little messy. This makes NO SENSE because she got a MAGIC makeover! Of course her hair is going to be absolutely perfect since it was DESIGNED BY MAGIC. Let's not even get into the mess that is Belle's hair b/c we'll be here for hours but yeah.

Onto Snow and Charming. Ever since watching Once Upon A Time, I love this couple a lot more. Unfortunately, Ginnifer Goodwin & Josh Dallas are not returning my calls again, so we didn't run into them. However, this was a great Snow White. Um, not that there's more than one. But what I mean is, she really sounded exactly like the Snow we all remember from the movie.

This time the roles were reversed, and Charming mainly spoke to Lee-Anne while Snow spoke to me. I felt bad because I was still acting like a brainless idiot due to the lack of Eugene, so I barely even spoke to her. I kept peeking over there thinking "Any second now.... they'll walk in... just a few more.. I know it..."

Snow was really REALLY sweet. She loved my costume and told me I was beautiful and so glittery. She poked at my bow tie several times and said it was such a cute little bow. I just kept saying thank you, but I was drawing a blank of what to say. I remember finally realizing that I should say that I liked her bow, too, but I WAS SO TONGUE TIED.

You have no idea. I was just like... WHERE IS EUGENE. How is this happening right now? The one character I wanted to meet most, that you can only meet at parties, is missing. It's different with Mickey, Minnie, Cinderella, and Snow. They are always there. So is Rapunzel. BUT NOT EUGENE!

Check out Charming holding his heart while staring at me. Snow White needs to hold onto her man b/c it looks like someone has a crush, and with Eugene MIA, who knows what could happen!

We all posed together and my head was throbbing because I knew Eugene and Rapunzel still weren't over there and when the picture was taken we were going to have to move on and I was so not happy about that. I still had a little hope left though, I mean this is Disney! Unlike in the real world, things actually work out here!

Check out Charming's eyes in this next one. He was obviously just taking a quick moment to daydream about marrying me. Sorry Charming, Taylor Hanson's my man.

So... yes. We took the pictures and then walked over to the third, empty section. I just stood there for a minute in disbelief, basically. The only CM around who was not busy was the PhotoPass photographer, who could not have been more clueless. I know her job is to simply take pictures, but I"m not even sure she knew where she was. She had no idea what was going on, no idea if Rapunzel & Eugene would be back, or when they were coming.

She also had no idea, IF they were going to come, when the greetings would be over. I read on the DIS that they cut the lines off before the party ends, so I wanted to make sure that if we came back, it wouldn't be too late.

The CM had NO idea, at all, how to answer any of these questions. She didn't have a "Earning My Ears" thing on her nametag either, so I just really do not understand how an experienced CM could possibly know so little about the situation. Not only that, but she did not really even try to help at all, even though I was clearly upset. I was really disappointed in that. It's not like I expect her to tear the place apart looking for them but there had to have been something she could have done to provide more information. I mean, I work for a retail store in the mall, NOT the biggest vacation destination on the planet, and even we are never supposed to leave a customer hanging with no information. We are supposed to do everything we can, and this CM was just literally standing there shrugging.

I wanted to wait for Rapunzel & Eugene to get there, but at this point SO much time had already passed and we were totally missing the party, so we left the room. I was so completely disappointed. I felt like a giant balloon that had been suddenly popped. I was really, really upset.

I asked a few CMs in the building about this. I simply wanted to know the same things I had asked the PhotoPass photographer. No one, even the CMs at the front of the Princess line, knew the answer to any of my questions. It was simple: I didn't want to waste another huge gap of time in line for characters who weren't even there. I just wanted to know if they would be there and how long! NO ONE knew. I was at a loss.

I was really disappointed in the way this was handled. Someone should have been able to tell me if Rapunzel and Eugene were going to come out, and if so, how long about would they be? Not to ruin the magic, but they are on a schedule here! They KNOW when these people are supposed to be there. They should know if they are on a break or getting dressed or what. Like, HOW hard is it for the behind the scenes Entertainment CMs to let the Town Square Theater CMs know what's up? Why do they have phones hidden in the wall if they are not relaying this important information? It was ridiculous.

I could only imagine how many little girls dressed as Rapunzel were devastated by this. For me, it wasn't JUST that they weren't there - it was how completely left in the dark we were, from the line that was at a dead stop to the cluelessness of all the Cast Members in the building. It was just VERY unlike Disney, and a complete disappointment.

I was really struggling with my feelings because my gut response was to be devastated, but I also felt like, HEY i'm at MNSSHP. Yes, this hugely disappointing thing happened, but I'm STILL AT MNSSHP, so how can I mope around? I have to say though, it was really hard to fight how upset I was.

@babybritney: I am so upset. We just waited AGES in a line that was at a dead stop not even moving and RAPUNZEL AND EUGENE WEREN'T THERE!

@babybritney: And none in their place! Just Cinderella, Snow and princes! And an empty 3rd space! AND THE CMs HAVE NO IDEA WHEN THEY ARE COMING HELP

@babybritney: We just wasted so much time. I don't even :(

Look, I know it's silly. I don't care. I'm at Disney, I wanted to meet Rapunzel and Eugene Fitzherbert. I had my heart set on it, it didn't happen, I thought it was my only shot, and no one had any information to give me. Not to be dramatic... but I was heartbroken.

Up Next: Can we salvage MNSSHP, or will I cry endlessly instead?

THIS... A Million times THIS! I don't think I've read a more eloquent description of what it is to love Disney and know that each and every character meeting is 100% REAL! I actually feel really sorry for anyone who doesn't get that. :confused3

I know I was admittedly quite amused by the Via Napoli episode and the parade of wait...resses, but definitely not here. Reading this I genuinely felt for you. I kept scrolling slowly, thinking for sure some Disney Magic would happen and BAMM they would appear. So sad this happened to you. :goodvibes :flower3:

And to top it all with all the cluelessness. This would have been such a great time for... TALL GUY!!!
