I'm So Excited.......(i know-i'm sad!!!!!!!)

I have just been on hold for 35mins with TicketMaster but it paid off+i have booked 4 FRONT ROW RINKSIDE SEATS for High School Musical On Ice for Christmas .I am sooooo excited but had no-one to share it with-dd7 is at school,dh is at work,Nan+Grandad are in Ireland and dd3 has no idea what's going on and is looking at me as if i am nuts .So i thought why not share it with all my friends on here .x.

Did you see the Ice Show or the Normal tour? Me+dd7 are seeing the HSM Tour in Aug at Hammersmith Apollo+want to know how good that one is??.

I really enjoyed the ice show in January. DD is going to watch the stage show in July in Manchester. Everyone just comes away singing the songs wether you want to or not, it just can't be helped.

We saw the ice-show in Jan and the Stage Show a couple of weeks ago.

The ice tour is HSM1 in the first half and HSM2 after the interval and was pretty much as the film but with a new song and a few extra verses - I'm asuming that it's the same version touring again later this year. The dance moves they did on the ice were amazing

The stage show also had some new songs, verses in (I'm not sure if some were the same as the ice tour) and slight differences to the story. I didn't like Sharpay but I couldn't work out if the character had been written differently or whether it was the actress (think it was the part) Having said that it was a great energetic show and loads of fun - you and DD will love it! Think London version has 'Sharon' from Eastenders in it as Miss Darbus

I'd happily see either again

Cheers everyone.I told dd7 when she we got back from school+she started to cry,she was sooooo happy.We are going to have a 'Fabulous' time.I love HSM myself,even dh was happy(but he told me not to tell you all

Thanks for the info a couple of you have given me about the shows you have seen -i can't wait .The HSM Ice Tour are the ones who perform in USA,and they include some young american ice-skating stars,some of which have stared in some films as stunt doubles as well.x.

What type of souvies were at the shows+roughly how much-if you can remember?.x.

We saw the show last year on Boxing Day and it was great. We all really enjoyed it - I'd got the girls HSM Cheerleaders Outfits and pom-poms for Christmas so they really looked the part!

I'm racking my brains trying to think of the merchandise. I remember there were quite a few t shirts. I let my 2 buy 1 thing each - they chose a pretend earpiece and microphone thing (the type that I've seen Madonna use) and a microphone that lights up.

The Ice tour I can't really remember (she only got a lanyard from that!) There was a 'free' Ryan hat with the candyfloss. There was a lovely black baseball jacket with silver embroidery but it was about £28
