I'm so excited, I have to share

I'm heading off to CKU in 4 days and yesterday got an email that my dorm was selected to perform our song at the Tailgate party on Thursday night. Who woulda thunk.

I've never heard the tune we're using and I can sing worth spit. But this is going to be so much fun (and nerve wracking). OMG, I think I'm getting American Idol anxiety now.

That's so exciting! You'll have lots of fun maybe you could lip synic (spelling??) while everyone else sings it Just joking.... Have fun and I can't wait to hear how it went.

I can't wait to see your performance!!! I am glad it was you that won and not me...I couldn't stand the thought of signing a country song...even if it is the Dixie Chicks.

Thanks everyone. I think we're all nervous about performing. There are only 7 of us in the dorm. And just about all of us have admitted to not being able to sing. Luckily we do have one singer in our group so the rest of us will be her backup - WAY BACK up. I guess I should go out and find the song we're using so I can at least be a little familiar with it come Thursday.

Oh, and thanks for the support Patti. I'm sure we can use all the clapping and cheering we can get.
