We did the DDP last trip, with 2 kids, and enjoyed it. This trip it will be 3 adults and a toddler and I have no idea which restaurants to pick. I already know Chef Mickeys and 'Ohana but that's it. I know my sister wants to eat at RC at AK and that's not on the DDP so that's one meal already planned. What other restaurants are somewhat unique to Disney (my mom does not really like eating out) but appropriate for 3 adults and a mostly well behaved toddler?

I'd go w PP above. Plus Garden Grill -- it's a good middle-of-the-trip meal since it's just "food" and has Mickey, Chip/Dale, Pluto. Akershus -- princesses are cute. Crystal Palace -- buffet right int he middle of MK with Pooh and friends.

I hope your toddler stays well behaved until you go :) They change so quickly!!

I would second Crystal Palace....good character interaction and the buffet is pretty good. When my children were toddlers we took them to alot of restaurants in WDW ( not the signature dining ones) and they were fine. What kinds of food are you looking for?

Crystal Palace for breakfast with Pooh and friends; Biergarten in Germany (at Epcot), Plaza Restaurant at MK for a change of pace from all the "heavy" meals we eat on the dining plan. Places I would avoid since your mother does not like eating out (plus we thought the meals and service were bad) are Whispering Canyon Cafe and Hollywood & Vine.

I'm not sure what kinds of food I am looking for. I think I more want restaurants that adults will like but toddlers won't mind and that won't mind toddlers :goodvibes. We are not doing Epcot so restaurants there are out.

You can do ANY restaurant (except Victoria & Albert's) with a toddler. Disney is "kids"...and you should not feel uncomfortable at any of them having a toddler. Since you aren't doing Epcot, I'd also recommend Mama Melrose at the Studios and Yak & Yeti or Tusker House at the AK.
