I'm really sorry...

I've got to comment here...]
I, like many others, really look forward to the shows each week, and it is a disappointment when I don't get to hear them. That being said, I'd rather have a bunch of healthy podcasters doing their job and not have a single week's worth of shows. You have the most entertaining podcast out there, and I (selfishly) want the team to be around for years so that I can continue to enjoy it!

:thumbsup2

Hey, everyone! :goodvibes

Don't infect each other. No :grouphug: group get togethers.
Get better soon. :flower3:
Stay healthy. :cheer2:

Every time that we don't have a podcast for the week due to illness, the podcast team has to bend over backwards with apologies. It's just not right!

I agree!

Pete - I just got over the same type of thing...it started as a flu then I felt better and then I started coughing like crazy! It stayed for a few days like that - I hope you feel better sooner then I did.

Pete and Walter...no appologies are necessary.

Pete, I'm sorry that you feel crapy...get some rest, take meds that will help you and feel better soon. We will be here waiting.

Back to listening to DISRadio...:goodvibes

Whatever Pete has, moved in to his chest this morning. :

Get better soon Pete. You are really smart to take all things seriously.

I had a "cold" this summer and it went to my chest. I kept ignoring it and I ended up with pneumonia. I thought only older people got that so I kept joking about it with people when they suggested it might be serious. One night I was awake during a coughing fit and heard a strange noise. As I was looking out the window trying to see what was making the sounds I realized it was coming from me. On the bright side I now know the price of a doctors visit in Canada....$32.00 ( Yes that is the total cost with no insurance or deductable. I had to pay $20 with the rest covered by insurance for the follow up visit here in North Carolina. )

That was in August and I am still coughing....

Get better soon, Pete. Please don't be too proud to go visit the doctor. I can have gramma FedEx some matzoh soup if you think it would help.

I too appreciate the heads up so I can stop obsessively checking itunes, but please don't waste a second apologizing, justifying etc. No reasonable person would expect it, and an unreasonable person would not be pacified by it anyway. Just take care of yourself and feel better!

One of the drawbacks of smoking...it always moves into your chest. ::yes::

When you're sick, you're sick. Gotta get better.

I don't get people complaining about it. :sad2: If it were me, I'd tell the people who were pissed or whining that I'd refund their money. :teeth:

Be healthy, guys ! I'll miss the show this week, but its just an excuse to go hit up the archives.

Pete get better soon! Take care of yourself and we will all be here next week.

I'm always disappointed when the show doesn't go up, but I'd rather miss one show than have anyone else getting sick. There have been quite a few hysterical shows in the last few months, I will go back and relisten to those.

No need to apologize at all. We totally understand the logic and just hope you feel better soon. :goodvibes

In fact, I just finished listening to the very first call-in show where you gave away 11 prizes from the prize-ma-tron(sp?).
Does thinking about that day still give John high blood pressure? :faint:

What date was that one? I don't think I ever heard it.

*And get well soon, Pete! Being sick sucks! :P

We won't be recording this week. I was feeling better yesterday and we planned to record today. Woke up this morning with coughing fits - which is apparently what happened to 'Typhoid Maxy' (that's why he wasn't at the show last week). I have no idea why I'm getting so sick so often this year - and it absolutely sucks. I NEVER get sick like this, and now this is the third time since January! Again, I'm sorry about not putting a show up this week, but I can't afford to get the rest of the team sick.

Thx
Pete

Pete... you're killllllling me!!!! We're going to Dis next week and I was planning on saving the podcast to listen to on the plane!!! NOOOOOooooo!!!! :faint:

:upsidedow

I'm only kidding. On a serious note, feel better!! I always suggest the following for colds :hippie:...

Zinc
Vitamin C
Oil of Oregano
Hot Epsom Salt Baths
Probiotics
and best of all....SLEEP!!!

:flower3:

Honestly, don't worry about the show. Just feel better soon and keep on keeping the rest of the team healthy. We love new shows, but your health and the health of the team is far more important!! Good luck figuring out what to do about your immune system too - it needs to come back from vacation. ;)

Get better Pete and I hope nobody else gets it!! :thumbsup2 You guys shouldn't have to apologize.........anybody with some common sense should understand why getting a large group of people (with kids and elderly parents) in a small room and working together isn't the best idea!!
